“We were on a trip from Oklahoma to Minnesota when the apparently more rusty than I knew tailpipe broke on our Chinook RV. No one in Albert Lea would help us so I called The Muffler Center in Austin as they were the next town on our route to Millville. They got us in as soon as the truck that was on their new 15,000lb lift was done. The owner worked on our RV because all of his guys were busy on vehicles that had appointments. They set me up with a complete new Walker muffler, a custom bent tailpipe, and even dressed it up with a nice stainless tip. All for a reasonable price. This was all at a moments notice on Friday July 12th 2024. Five stars.”

“Had a blowout late on a Friday “10 minutes before closing” they got my spare off, mounted my other tire, and I was able to make it the rest of the way home. Not many companies will stay open late on a Friday just to help a guy out. But Hanson tire did, and I am greatly appreciative of them great place.”

“Dave and Matt did a great job with my grandfather's recent fender bender and my recent major deep ditch incident! Negotiated with insurance for me, stayed on/ahead of schedule, and explained the things a "novice accidentee" wouldn't think of! My car looked happy and beautiful at pickup. When I get compliments on my car from strangers, they can't believe it sustained $8,000 in body damage! When you guesstimate how much body damage has happened, remember to expect triple that, because it doesn't take much damage to rack up a huge reconstruction bill!”
“The wonderful People at West Oakland Auto Repair helped me out when no other shop in Austin would. A minor breakdown had me stranded at 5pm on a Friday. After calling several places (with the help of a kind employee of autozone), West Oakland said they would get me in. They quickly diagnosed a bad tensioner on my serpentine belt, sourced the part, and had me back on the road by 6pm. I couldn’t have been more thankful for their kindness. “I have used this business several times. Dave and the team are amazing! Due to childhood trauma, I have an irrational fear of of my car breaking down and stranding me somewhere. These guys are awesome at compassionately understanding my concerns and hunting until they find the noise that has me concerned. Other mechanics have not, and dismissed me and my concerns. Austin Tire COULD easily take me to the bank because I know nothing about cars, but they don't.
