A great spot to stop and warm up after fishing. The Ruben was good and the fries are great.

We like going to the Pit and heard prices went up. We had lunch ordered a couple burger platters 2 apps and a pitcher of beer. $100 . Also watch out for that credit card charge even though your paying cash. Sad for us locals that don’t have a lot of dining options. Only one server and she was great. I can’t justify going there anymore with those prices.

Food was really bland. The bacon hamburger pizza tasted like it had cheese whiz on it, it was gross and the meat had no flavor/salt. I ordered the fudge cheesecake and when I got it I could tell it was dried out and old. It was covered in whipped cream and as I was digging through the whipped cream it looked like there was a cherry that was supposed to be on top but only the juice was there. I asked the server about I and she said "oh, I take off the old one and put in a fresh one, but I must have forgot". Not impressed, they need to do better.

If you are sobrr you will not be liked at this joint! No matter how much you tip your servers it's clique is of the of the overly proud and rude. if you like your nachos the way I do, you know that the chips are almost half the struggle? You'd be better off using the popcorn used as a snack while suffer the wait of 35-50 minutes later because they like to load you up on the alcohol beverages.I've sat in way more expensive chow halls in the basements of hotels with higher classed guests and had my entree in half the time and had the most unforgettable conversations with the regulars who could of been someone famous I'd suppose Nope that's not happening at this joint. I will say this, the parking is not to shabby!

It's tough to be hard on the Pit. The food is always good for the area, the service is great, the waitstaff is nice, and there's always some sport playing on the TV. Prices are middle of the road, on the other hand, and you get a good amount for a decent price. As someone who lives in DL, its a nice place to go, but it doesn't have the "wow factor" some other places go for. If you live in the area, its worth a visit, but its never really a "out of town destination."Kid-friendliness: It's a sport bar. Might be a bit boisterous at times, depending on who is playing.

We love stopping in for a meal after spending the day at Detroit Mountain on the bike trails. The food is great, service is friendly and there's plenty of windows so we can keep an eye on the bikes. The two of us usually walk away stuffed to the gills for $40. Recommend!

This used to be the place to go for excellent food. No longer. I ordered mushroom Swiss burger. The burger was like a dense hockey puck, no flavor. Husband had Reuben and said it was awful. Quite expensive for what you get.

Over priced and a 2 hour wait for food. I decided to give this place another try and wish I hadn’t. Every time I come here it’s a hour plus wait for food after we order it. Horrible service, food was ok at best, and high prices. Literally waited 2hours for our family to get our order. Avoid at all cost. Poor service and food is mediocre at best. Don’t waste your time or money. EDIT: After this post, management came to our table after my father in-law had paid out $300+ tab and aggressively confronted us demanding to know who had written this review and completely embarrassed our entire family and tried to intimidate me into deleting this review. I have never experienced something so unprofessional in my life. This just furthers my point to avoid this place all together and at all cost. Plenty of GOOD places in lakes country, this IS NOT one of them!

We sat down and were promptly ignored for 15-20 minutes. Finally had to get up and get our own menus. Finally ordered and we were ignored for the next 40 minutes. No one checked on us. Finally a server comes to say they forgot to put in our order! How do you forget to put in an order??? We picked up and left. What a joke. They seriously need to train their staff how to recognize when people sit down and how to properly serve. Otherwise get a host so you have someone managing tables. Going to The Roadhouse now where we should have gone in the first place. Thanks for wasting our time.

An Oasis in the middle of nowhere suddenly pops up! The food is excellent drinks are good after the 1st one and bar keep sees you're serious! The servers need a little bit to get on point and the atmosphere is kind of wild and loud. I would go there again and recommend 2 my friends!Kevin G.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome and have a blast watching old folks misbehaving! Plenty of parking & wheelchair spots near the door!Beats heating the cottage up and making a mess in the kitchen!Parking: Just do it! It gets full at peak hours but the terraced ditches could work! Something will happen & open up!Wheelchair accessibility: Just roll on in!

I have always been a big fan but I ate there over the weekend and the meal was not prepared properly and I shared my concerns with the waiter and his response was “that happens sometimes”. I paid my bill and left, lots of other places to dine.
