Don't get a bike fit at this location.I used to bike thousands of miles a year prior to last year around this time when I regrettably went in to get my long-time fit adjusted in an effort to perhaps help with some minor right hip pain that I was experiencing.Too trusting on my part, as every worker there said he's great, I was moved forward roughly 3 inches, slammed down 17 degrees, and heightened over an inch. I then rode two events and my knee has been injured since. After the first event my left knee felt wrong and was twingy. I called in and checked with Fitter and was told to trust the fit. After second event I knew something was wrong as knee was injured. Turned out the calculations on the stem were wrong--should not have beem slammed but rather risen. Even still, I should not have been pushed forward 3 inches, which put way too much strain on my inner knee.Fast forward a year--always icing and elevating, MRI, specialist, physical therapy, no biking for 9+ months, weight gain, no-biking depression, veganism, ice baths and red light therapy--and my knee is still messed up.There isn't a day that goes by where I don't regret getting this bike fit.What I regularly reflect on was how the Fitter did not bring the fit to me, but rather me to a fit. I remember him telling me how he likes to start the fitting process with a setup that is totally different from a person's current setup, as otherwise his clients are too resistant to change. At the time I thought okay, you're the expert, but with a year's worth of injured reflection, I believe that to be a terrible and dangerous start to a fitting process.There are countless bike fitters in the cities. Go to one that brings the fit to you, not the other way around.

Purchased my second bike in a year from the Arden Hills location after my great experience there last time. Once again the whole team was so helpful in getting me into the right bike for my needs. Every time I buy there I learn so much and leave feeling confident I made the right purchase. Thanks Jonathon and team!

NOW is a candy store for cyclists. They have the high end bikes, equipment and expertise that most area bike shops lack. I’ve bought two bikes from them and have to be careful with my credit card whenever I walk in. The sales and maintenance staff is excellent and very friendly. And, I really trust their knowledge.

I love this store - if you are buying a bike, ask for Jeremy or Josh - they are amazing guys.The mechanics are very humble and kind, they've helped me out of multiple jams.A very laid back, professional store where you are welcome whether you are a newbie or a veteran.I will be loyal to this shop for as long as I can pedal. For context, I live in St. Paul and prefer to drive to this shop because of how amazing the staff are. Get out here and get on a bike!

I was looking for a new ebike that had a more natural riding feel because my hud driven bike felt over boosted. Jeremi took the time to explain all of the different models and helped me decide what bike might work best for me. He even rode beside me while I test rode some bikes to see what I did and didn't like about each one. I ended up finding a bike that I absolutely love to ride. Jeremi also made the entire experience so much fun. He has a great sense of humor and is just an overall nice person. Still looking for the rooftop test course, Jeremi :). Thanks, Jeremi, it was fun and I'm so happy with my new bike.

The guys at Now Bikes are amazing! They do a fantastic job with both sales and service and they're totally committed to making sure everything is taken care of and done right. They knew when I was leaving on a bike trip and (long story made short) totally built my new bike in one day so I'd have it in time. They really go above and beyond!

The service team at Now agreed to work on my ebike after two other shops turned me away. They're my heroes. Prices are reasonable, staff is super friendly, too.

We needed an attachment for a Burley Tail Wagon asap and the guy I spoke with was very helpful and found his supplier had one in stock and he was able to have it sent to the shop same day! He didn't have to make that effort but he did. Thank you so much for caring and for great service! I know it doesn't always work out to get something that quickly but in this case it did. I believe that this kind of help is the standard at Now Bikes!

I was waiting to try an e-bike that another store was suppose to transfer from their sister store but they never called me. Actually they forgot. So I decided to drive up to Arden Hills after calling them to see if they had the bike I wanted to try. Josh said it was in a box but he would come in early to put it together the next morning. He was true to his word. When I arrived it was ready to try. He was knowledgeable and he took care of making all the necessary adjustments right away so I bought it on the spot. He even said “I’m out of the kickstands but take this in the meantime and I’ll order it and send it to you” ….for free. He followed up and called me back and like yeah just WOW customer service and WOW Josh. It was night and day with the other store I went to in Plymouth. They didn’t really know e-bikes at all and like I said they were to have the bike I wanted to try brought over from their sister store on Wednesday and not a peep, not a word and when I showed up at their store the guy who helped me said “I didn’t work all week so not my fault”.That’s the difference between professionalism of mature caring adults and hiring kids that don’t. I was convinced Josh was the owner with just how much good care he gave us. Now Bikes from Now on.

I bought a bike from another NOW store a few years ago. It had been more than 40 years since I had ridden a bike, and let me tell you- you CAN forget how to ride one. I did ok regaining my balance, but never got comfortable with the bike. I just didn't feel safe riding it, or stopping on it. As an obese and aging woman, I thought I'd give a tricycle a shot. After doing research for a few weeks, I was unable to find a local store that had any trikes except for one store with ONE style of trike that did not appeal to me at all. I called this shop to get an estimate for them to put a trike together if I bought one online. As it turned out, they had a trike in stock. I showed up the next day to give it a good test ride. Oooo boy, I felt really uncomfortable walking in the store. Remember- obese and aging woman in a store that looked like it catered to serious riders and triathletes, coming in to ride a TRIKE! I felt like I fit in there about as much as if I had been a fish wanting to take that ride. Zach and Jaime both treated me with courtesy and gave me their full attention, answered my questions, were warm and welcoming and despite how I felt, never for a moment treated me like a fat old lady who didn't belong there. The trike they had was not what I had in mind to buy online, but it was a good model, had disc brakes that I LOVED the feel of, and I felt safe and comfortable on it. I purchased the trike the next day. Not only did they deliver it to my home, but let me know that if I needed service for the trike and could not transport it to the shop (trikes are not small!), they would come to me. I am now a total fan of this bike shop, and heartily recommend them for your riding needs. I do hope they might consider stocking a few trikes for us older folks who want to feel like we're ten again.

The folks at Now are amazing, always going above & beyond for their customers. Fantastic selection of bikes from the highest end race bikes all the way to commuter E-bikes. Can't recommend this place enough.

I had to replace both my tube and tire on the back and without going into detail about my personal situation publicly here, I did with them. I asked if they had any mobile type service and after a few questions about the size, etc. and a "hold" to contact the serviceman, low and behold, David said he could come out! I asked, "about how long?" "I just have to grab a few tools and I'll be omw" and in less than the time it takes me to drink a barley pop, he was here! (after calling for better directions) David was so sincere and authentic. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND 'NOW BIKES' cuz... they come out NOW??!Before that, 3 weeks earlier, I had called about how long after I get it there because I was initially going to be dropped off... "while you wait, 10-15 minutes." Awesome!!!?? THIS BUSINESS KNOWS CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!?✌
