I'm truly amazed how they took my 4 year old worn and broken black dress shoes and made them better than new. Then, on top of all that, I don't have to get a new pair that will probably hurt my feet for a month while I break them in be mine. Better result, cost less than a new pair, and is earth friendly (not throwing shoes away). I wish I knew this possibility sooner.

Excellent customer service. They were so thorough in fixing my shoes, they noticed something I didn't even know was wrong! Completed the fix in a timely manner and shipped them back very quickly. Highly recommend!

Store personnel was super friendly but I am EXTREMELY disappointed with this repair. I brought a vintage Gucci bag in that had exposed piping on all four corners. Spoke to the owner of the shop and he gave me an affordable option to patch the corners and match the leather color as close as possible to the original color. Picked the bag up today and I am shocked by how unprofessional this repair looks. The patching is lumpy on all four corners and there is leather paint/dye residue on the coated canvas. I was hoping to have some other repairs done here, but after the results of this job I will not be back.

I haven’t needed or had any reason to think of shoe repair since I was a kid. (Many years ago.). I only knew of George’s.A few weeks ago I tried fixing my favorite boots (it didn’t go as well asI hoped ).The 1 and only place I knew of was George’s. While searching I was shocked to several other shoe repair shops. In my world, I thought George’s would still be the only shop. Well, because of the whole, ‘old dog & new tricks’ trend. I called George’s (still very friendly & professional), I explained my quandary and as I expected, the response was, bring them in.The top of the boots landed between my ankle and knee. Each boot has 6 buckles (for cute purposes) and the strap of the buckle kept curling up (not so cute). So I wanted the straps tacked down. And the tongue was the same length as the bot was tall and they kept sliding so far to the side it usually ended up near the back. So I wanted the tongues tacked in place.They quoted me a price which was more than I had hoped. But, the boots were so inexpensive, I kept waiting for the police to stop me. George’s told me 2 weeks, maybe sooner, but plan on 2 weeks. They called within 3 days, told me they were ready. When I saw the GREAT quality work, I was more happy than surprised. The workmanship was something I haven’t seen since I was a kid (long time ago). I am thrilled and I love my boots. Thank you, thank you! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Brought in a pair of Birkenstocks that needed a new cork footbed. They are now in better shape than when I first bought them from Birkenstock. Great friendly service and smooth process.

I had a pair of red wings resoled here and they turned out better than if I had sent them to red wing. The sole options and pricing were better. I also had a coach bag restored (sewing and conditioning).

If you need shoes repaired, George’s is the place to go! They completely restored and resoled a pair of boots I’ve worn for a decade. Walked me through all my options, and they’ve got plenty!

Needed an additional hole put into a belt. Searched for repair shop and George's came up. The great reviews were spot on. Friendly staff asked what I needed, put the extra notch in within minutes, and then let me know that there wasn't a charge. If not already a great experience, the shop smells like fine leather. We will be back for shoe repair or other related needs!

AMAZINGLY talented leather artists! My purse was damaged in a robbery. They were able to match the leather of the purse PERFECTLY and reinforced the attachments very strongly. I also bought some Haflingers as well as some very well-priced zippered leather pouches. Extremely impressed with the expert service, efficiency and reasonable costs.
