It was a struggle/fight to get any information or final closing costs or even just an estimate. The other 3 mortgage companies were debated between could give us that info instantly. So we really had no idea of money until the day of closing. Communication was not great, took awhile for any response. But the overnight person gave a response within minutes. Wings was able to give one percent less than others so if it wasn’t for that, we definitely would have went elsewhere. Not a great experience with the way the market and increasing interest rates are.

Wings Financial was very knowledgeable, patient, and helpful when we were applying for a loan. After comparing several brokers, we found the best rate at Wings.

Recently had a great experience obtaining a mortgage on an investment property with Wings. Everything was smooth and with no hiccups on their end. There was a few on my end and they navigated it with me with no issues. They have a night and weekend assistance link in the event I needed something handled when my loan officer was not in the office. My original loan officer left the company halfway through the process but other people were able to pick up right where he left off. I will definitely use Wings in the future for my mortgage needs.

As a real estate broker/agent, I've worked with countless mortgage brokers and banks through hundreds of transactions. Wings is one of the best. What I really like about them is their level of service, responsiveness, and fantastic products. Their focus on matching the right product with their clients goals and educating folks on what path may be best, can help clients save immensely on the rate and closing fees. They are really helpful through the approval process. All the loan officers I've worked with at Wings have been experienced and friendly to work with!

Let me start this off with saying we weren’t able to get approved with Wing’s for a mortgage loan. There was a bit of misunderstanding that it was Conventional, and not FHA. So that’s on us, and we aren’t mad about that.We are upset because of how rude the two different loan officers were to the both of us. Incredibly classist undertones by both Tim Hall & Teagan Swanson. It was unnecessary and rather unprofessional, even if we weren’t qualified for that particular loan. This is rather surprising given how wonderful of a credit union Wing’s Financial has been for me, but now I know there are parts of it that aren’t as great.Also, we did in fact get approved for our FHA loan via Edina Realty. They actually took the time to work us through the process and to run numbers. They were honest us, and we were honest with them. So to say the least I’d highly recommend other outfits when trying to acquire a mortgage loan.
