I shop this Dollar Tree quite frequently.... The staff is always friend... They now have 4 or 5 self Check-Out stations which speeds up check out time dramatically... I also love their "Large print" crossword puzzle books... I almost exclusively use this store for cards.... Birthday cars, Mother's Day cards and cards for all occasions. Dollar Tree Stores are pretty consistent and reliable. This one is no exception.. I am sure I will return on a couple of days..

Three people working in the cashier area, two of them stating they are closed and going home, and one told me to use self check out, poor staffing of a fairly busy store. Always a problem with self check out, today was no exception.

I believe there are serious issues with their coins accepting machines. If you keep depositing the coins quickly it skips some of the coins in counting money. You must insert the next coin only after machine has considered the previous one.

I wanted to visit a Dollar Tree store after having taken in a movie. I was in the southern part of Eagan and crossed over to Apple Valley to visit this store. It's in a quiet plaza with a ton of parking. I pulled into a spot and walked in. This store has an older design. It seems to have been around for a while. However, many businesses in this plaza haven't survived, so the surroundings feel a bit eerie. I was here for a cheap notebook to practice calligraphy. I found one that looked like one that I had in high school. It was perfect for my needs. The snacks and food sections were pretty decent. The frozen food section had breakfast sandwiches, ice cream, and more. I ended up getting a one-litre bottle of Diet Pepsi and ramen. This store had a nice variety of ramen. The woman at the checkout seemed preoccupied with getting off work. She did manage to bag my items and ring up the bill. I paid with a credit card. Done! It's a huge store with a lot of variety. There was a Christmas merchandise sale. I ended up getting heavily discounted strawberry Jello candy canes, which are yummy. I saw everything from Cold Stone Creamery, to Twinkies candy canes. Cool and different! I enjoyed shopping at this Dollar Tree. I'd return when I'm back in the area. (9)

Large store with a solid selection of stuff. Store is busy however and it can be difficult to walk sometimes because of that. Otherwise it's an ok store.

Not all stores carry the same thing. That makes it difficult to run in and grab what you need, because they may not have it.

They usually have, what I'm looking for (I'm very familiar with the store inventory as I live very close by) and can find it easily, but they sometimes surprise me by having something different, that until then, I didn't know I needed.It's usually a busy place, it's usually clean and the shelves are usually stocked pretty well.It's a casual easy place to shop; I believe (like others) that I always spend more money than I intended.But hey,it's an interesting place to shop and inexpensive!
