I have used these guys twice during mold remediation. Both times they were quick to come out to our house and collected a bunch of samples. One time they went right out to their van and used a mobile lab to get our results right away. The other time we had our results in a few days. Theirpricing is very competitive too.

As a homeowner of an older home in the northwest metro, I've found the testing services Techtron provides invaluable when involved in DIY home remodeling projects.I've probably been there half a dozen times in the last decade with samples to test for asbestos. The technicians are friendly and very knowledgeable and I usually get same day results.It is also very affordable for the test.I highly recommend them!

We had a great experience with Techtron! Scheduling was very timely and accommodating. Our IEP was very friendly, respectful and knowledgeable about the nature and behavior of mold; he was also very thorough in the inspection. He spent several hours carefully evaluating each level of our home and (hideaways, the attic, etc) and he inquired about various aspects of water intrusion into our home. He took numerous tape samples and several air samples and was also very adept at answering questions about the science around mold.One tiny suggestion, is that you prep your home for inspection by clearing out areas like closets and under sinks.

Thank you so much for great customer service. Techtron was recommended by a friend who had experienced mold issues. When I called expecting an appointment to be scheduled, the hygienist on the line listened to the scenario, and then recommended steps I could take (e.g. HEPA filter vacuum) before asking for a technician to make a trip. Now cleaning, it looks like his hypothesis may solve the problem. If there are friends/family in the future with mold/dust/dander concerns, I will also give a referral to Techtron.

I contacted Techtron for help with a mold report for a family home. They listened to me and understood my needs. They provided professional service in a timely manner for a very fair price. The technician Shawn patiently explained to me what he was doing and wrote a very thorough report. I highly recommend their services.

I took 3 different samples to get tested for asbestos and I got results back the same day. I had a good experience with them so I would recommend them to others.

Had them come in to do asbestos testing on our 1950's house, they were great in working our tight schedule and we got the results within a few days. The technician (Kyle C.) that came out was super knowledgeable and friendly during the whole process. Our results came back negative but I called with follow-up questions anyway for peace of mind and they were fantastic in expanding on the results. Great company!

They came and took samples for testing promptly and said the results would be back shortly. They didn't notify us of the results (they notified our insurance but not us, the homeowners). They were hired to remove the asbestos in the popcorn of the ceiling after an ice dam caused water to leak in in February of 2019 (insurance claim). First quote was missing the hallway. Took 3 weeks to re-quote, still didn't come look in person. Took another 3 weeks to get a phone call to make an appointment - the appointment was in 2 days. Told us the day before they arrived, when I asked, that they didn't quote removing the 3 light fixtures and that would be our responsibility. After the first visit there was still asbestos in the corners everywhere the ceiling met the walls AND they had painted down on the walls and kitchen cabinets. Their tape took off large chips of paint off the cabinets and heat register. They broke some of our refrigerator magnets. They moved our belongings, but didn't put them back. When they came back to "re-work", they informed us the morning they arrived that they would paint the walls themselves and what color did we want? We didn't have a color picked out - didn't know they would be painting - made a suggestion to match the yellow color of an adjacent room - came home to "Circus Peanut Orange". Not only was it an atrocious color, they missed spots, got paint on the door trim and baseboards, left big drips, and left craters in the wall from where they removed the clear corner protectors, which took wall with them, and they didn't fill the craters. Then they refused to cover the damages, or get a quote to determine the damages. Their insurance probably would have paid for the improper and negligent workmanship, but they never offered. I had to take them to court for the lack of reasonable care they displayed. They finally paid up in January of 2020. BEWARE of Tom Key and Techtron Engineering. They do not care about customer satisfaction.
