Extremely Grateful as they saved our cats life after she was attacked by our neighbors dog! It’s been a long road to recovery with an emergency surgery along the way! The clinic and staff have gone above and beyond to help our family member during such a difficult and traumatic experience. I highly recommend Rum River Vet for all your pets needs!! Thank you!

I recently brought my senior dog to Rum River Veterinary clinic for surgery, and I couldn't be more impressed with the level of care and professionalism. The entire staff were incredibly compassionate and took the time to explain every detail of the procedure, which really put me at ease. The doctors provided me with all the information I needed to make the right decisions for how to treat our dog. The confidence and expertise the doctors presented was everything I needed to know we made the best choice. From pre-op bloodwork and on, my dog was treated like family, and the surgery went smoothly. I received text updates during pre-op and surgery to keep me informed of how things were progressing. The post-operative care was exceptional, and they followed up multiple times to check on her recovery. If you're looking for a vet that genuinely cares, especially for older pets, this is the place to go! Highly recommended!

Found this vet due to the google reviews. Went there for the first time today and it was exceptional from the moment I walked in. I was greeted immediately, checked in very fast. The front desk employees were super friendly and nice. Cole and Dr.Angle were also fantastic. Very personable, honest, thoughtful, thorough, and knowledgeable. Was very nice to my dog and they could
tell he was nervous but by the end of the visit my dog was wagging his tail and as happy as a dog could be at the vet. They even showed me how to click my dog’s nails properly which was very helpful. Thanks again for the recommendations, information/literature, and support. I definitely will be back.

To put it simply, all the staff at the Rum River Vet Clinic care. They are some of the most compassionate, knowledgeable, and empathetic people we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Our cat, Sadie has a chronic illness and bad luck - something always seems to come up, but the veterinary team, are beyond helpful and supportive. Every aspect of our experiences at this clinic have been exceptional. The front desk staff are always warm and inviting, the vet techs are caring and competent. Dr. Angle and Dr. Kuebelbeck (the two veterinarians we’ve had the most contact with) are phenomenal! Not once have we felt rushed during a visit or when calling for advice. We always feel like our pet’s concerns are heard, validated, and addressed fully. The whole clinic team has repeatedly gone above and beyond to provide the highest quality care to us and our pet, Sadie. We are very lucky our community has this clinic! Thank you for all that you do!!

So this is overdue. My ex and I share two great dogs and around 2 years ago we decided to make a shift in Veterinary Care because our veterinarian at the time had sold his business and the feeling was gone, the place seemed more about money then care. At the time I lived in Apple Valley and the vet was in Ham Lake that's how great they were I would make the trip couple times a year.So when Trudy Lu develop kidney stones we were looking for another vet. We researched by price and started with the lowest and worked our way up until we came across Rum River. As soon as we brought her in for her initial visit we felt it, felt the ease and comfort of a locally owned not a corporation, not just another business looking for money, veterinarian. They were great they took care of her processed her through the first visit and scheduled the surgery. We got her in and everything worked out beautifully, I was satisfied with the price, service of care, staff, it was all great.We've been back another time when she had some teeth that went bad during a fight with her sister. This being an emergency we brought her in without an appointment and they fit her in. She needed surgery to remove the teeth as they weren't savable and they made it all happen in one day. So you get price, comfort, great staff, accommodating and flexible, honestly you couldn't pick a better veterinarian.

I usually find this vet popping. But that being said I'm still able to get in relatively quickly when need be. Because it is so busy there can be some issues with lab result timeliness and call backs. I also have had issues with their text confirmations having the wrong date or time but it's correct in their system every time. I've seen a multitude os their vets and dealt with a lot of their front staff and it has been pleasant every time.

At about 11:00pm I brought my dog into emergency, he had a melanoma in his mouth that doubled in size in less that 12 hrs, he was having trouble breathing. I knew I had to put him down, a very hard decision but I couldn't let him suffer. The staff that was there were absolutely wonderful and caring. My regular vet was making us wait for the treatment he needed, which turned out to be a bad decision for him. After last night I plan to change our Veterinary care to Rum River. Thanks to all the staff that was there for a really great experience for such a bad situation.
