Rebuilt my transmission at a great price. Transmission is working great just took a 200-mile trip to Park rapids. I am planning on going back to get some other work done.

Amazing service and great to work with! Highly recommend them for auto service - especially transmission work!We purchased a vehicle earlier this year and started having transmission issues. At the time of purchase, we had also purchased an extended warranty to cover major mechanical repairs as the vehicle was previously owned.After attempting to work with another shop that diagnosed thousands in repair needs and told us the harsh shifting and engine whine was a flex fuel sensor and the power steering pump needing replacement - not the transmission, we found Linear Transmission.They did a great job working with us and the warranty company to get the transmission replaced. Estimated costs that we would have to pay were explained upfront. They had a loaner available so that during the time of repair, we weren't trying to figure out transportation.The vehicle is driving great. No issues with shifting gears or whining noises. Thanks again!

I called them about the transmission issues on my daughters Infiniti I35. It would pop out of gear at random, and slam back in. They diagnosed it, installed two sensors, and she was out the door for about 300 dollars, in the same day. They knew what was up, and it wasn't an automatic overhaul. Slims Motor Clinic recommended them to me for the transmission work they couldn't do, I recommend them both.

Our tranny was going out and they told us it would be ok to rebuild half of it.A year later it went out again!We were very disappointed to find out from somewhere else that any reputable place would know and tell us with our type of truck, a half rebuild wouldn't work.We had to redo all of it somewhere else.Very costly mistake!!!!Service: Transmission

Linear Transmission test drove my Jeep (which was having drivetrain vibration) and ran it on a lift with diagnostic equipment. They let me know the transmission and torque converter were good and did not need repair! They gave me a list of possible things that might be causing the vibration, to have checked by a general mechanic.Honest evaluation and helpful suggestions! I recommend them!Service: Transmission
