Dr. Larocca is absolutely amazing! He is so knowledgeable and proficient at his job! He has exceeded all of our expectations. Our special boy Zuko has many special needs and has made accommodations for him. I appreciate all you guys do including the wonderful techs who take care of him. Just amazing! My dog has been being seen here since October of 2023. She was struggling to see and was diagnosed with cataracts. Dr. Lively did surgery on her in November and have had a great experience at every visit. Many of the techs always remember my Ruthie girl and enjoy seeing her. Dr. Lively is so kind and explains everything so well. We drive about an hour and 45 minutes for each appointment but they are well worth the drive! My little girl can see again and I couldn’t be any more grateful.

What a Godsend! I am relieved and comforted by the skill, professionalism, and care this facility provides! I have hope and a clear understanding of my dogs medical eye condition and a treatment plan that DOESN'T involve dangerous disfiguring surgery! I am grateful this provider exists and would highly recommend to anyone with a pet with eye issues!

Fit my boy in two days after our primary vet sent a referral due to Dry Eye and an ulcer. Unfortunately, they said they couldn’t do anything because the eye was too damaged and was probably blind in it for a while. They assured me though that everything looked great with his other eye. He has recovered from having his bad eye removed beautifully and he has his Hunky Dunkitude in full now again.

I've been here twice in 4 years. Staff very accommodating and kind, not to mention how knowledgeable the vet(s) were on both occasions.

I took my best friend (my dog) to an emergency drop off for a rapture eye that was caused by an infection and they acted fast and tried everything to save the eye wasn’t possible which I knew, but my dog is still here with me. There was other places that were suggesting me putting him down, but I didn’t give up. They help me and we have faith. Thank you all for being such good help my dog is 15 years old and going to go for 5 more years thank you ?? in the name of st. Francis of Assisi - amen ??

When I was told my dog would have to go to a specialist for his eyes I was terrified. But all the staff at thr Animal Eye Specialist Center were so friendly and quick to determine the issue with positive results. Being 4 hours away from this doctor, they work with my schedule on making appointments and make getting prescriptions so easy! Highly recommend them if you need an eye specialist!

I highly recommend the Animal Eye Specialty Center for all your pet eye care needs. My cat had a bleed into her eye and that got her in very quickly to be seen after her emergency vet visit. They have the kindest and most caring staff and veterinary ophthalmologists. You never feel rushed. My cat has high blood pressure that caused her eye bleed and other vets in my city only use an automated blood pressure cuff, the animal eye specialty center use a manual cuff and doppler to ensure that they get an accurate reading even on the smallest and furriest pets. Since I drive 2 -ish hours to get my cat to see them, sometimes there are pet accidents along the way. They were so kind to clean up my cat, her carrier, offered a fresh towel to take home, and double bagged the soiled blanket so we could wash it after arriving home (that will be the last time we do not travel with an extra blanket of our own). They were so kind about an embarrassing situation. I highly recommend their veterinary ophthalmologists and all members of their staff. The prices not not too bad for specialty care either. If your pet has an eye concern, definitely visit the Animal Eye Specialty Center in Andover, MN. They are worth the drive.

I had a great experience here. One of my foster kittens was seen by Dr. Flanders for eye concerns. The staff was so professional and compassionate. She needed the eye removed and they were able to get her in for surgery the same week. They were very communicative and helpful through each step of the process. I’m so grateful for the comfort they provided this kitten (and me!).

For about $50, you can't beat Motel 6. I really appreciated a room next to a grassy area so I could easily take my dog out.

I highly recommend this clinic. Dr. Lively is a very compassionate and skilled ophthalmologist. She and her team took excellent care of my Ellie. They are also exceedingly kind.
When Ellie passed, they sent a card of condolence, which was much appreciated.
