Full service! If ever a gas station counted as a cultural treasure, this is it. Merv, aged 92 at writing, has pumped gas here since 1962, if memory serves. (Forgive me, but I seem to have misplaced my notes from my recent visit.) His sons own the place now, but he still comes out to pump gas for his customers, although he reportedly doesn't climb up onto 18-wheelers (which he can, indeed, accomodate nicely) to clean customers' windshields anymore. Very well worth a visit -- utterly unforgettable. Offers scissor sharpening services as well. I look forward to visiting again.
