90% of the time I go through to deposit money the teller keeps putting my money on the wrong accounts. It's been as little as $400 and as large as an $1800 amount of money they just throw in the wrong accounts. This has happened to me 7 times in the past 3 months! I had even called to speak to a supervisor once (don't remember her name) but she was completely rude to me when I explained to her the situation. I told her it was always the same elderly woman that works In the drive through window (who isn't very nice herself) and the supervisor absolutely tried to make me feel incompetent. This morning my money was deposited into the wrong account AGAIN! The tellers even repeat the name on the account back to me and still mess up. I guess it's time to find a new bank.

Recently I made a large deposit .They said I must wait 7 days to access the funds. The date I deposited this large check, The gave me a verbal explanation, and a dated document. This stated my ability to access funds was 7 DAYS, I arrived on said date. I had the Customer Service Supervisor Elaine Viergutz assist me. She was argumentative and frankly rude.! I sat and tried to EXPLAIN the words on the document .There never was ANY language re ''SEVEN B-U-I-S-N-E-S-S- DAYS" It only stated" 7 days ".I was refused my funds ,And she clearly had a big problem with my blatant obvious issue.!! I was shooed away and she indignatly stood up and walked away. This is not how any financial institution should be run. The ability to see the writing/verbage. was not wrong.!!!! She wanted to argue. Now, they are holding me and my money hostage .I would never bank there ever again. What happened to reasonability.? Yet here we are .The game of perceived power she was running on me infuriated me. I am also going to file complaints with the States Attorney Generals Office, AND the F.D.I.C. I am so angry. It really could have been easy to understand my problem .She was totally refusing to hear or SEE the BLACK&WHITE ISSUE.I even told her how I was going to complain to the powers that be...She just shrugged her shoulders, as she walked away.This all was so simple. Yet the process is flawed, and is against the law.

I told them not to close out my account because I’m active duty and that’s the account my mother can use when need be. They closed it out two days before we needed it. Leaving us SOL.I was banking with them for over 5 years before and apparently that means nothing— wild.

We have banked at another bank in Alex for 15 years. We needed a loan and our bank wanted $8000 in closing costs and fees. I contacted Stephanie Eggen at the Ashby branch . This is the best customer service in getting a loan we have ever experienced. She is a true professional and was on top of all the paperwork so the closing went through without any issues. I highly recommend using Viking Bank and Stephanie if you have banking needs. Their fees were 37% of what our bank wanted to charge us. Thank you Stephanie for making things so easy!
