Went in for a leaking break fluid. Dan was able to fit me in and get the part needed to repair the leak. Definitely going back for the other repairs needed. I was quoted fairly for the the labor and parts. Plus they have cats and a dog to play with. That was a bonus!!

I strongly recommend Swanstrom, I had a last minute alternator emergency that needed to get fixed for me to get home and they were able to sneak me in and get it fixed right away to get me home. They were super helpful and explained everything, treated you like family! If you are in the Alexandria area I strongly recommend going to them!

This is the only car repair shop anyone should use! Dan is a great guy and so community minded. He is straight up, good-hearted, and honest. Donny is hands down one of the best mechanics and people I have met. He always goes the extra mile, even if he doesn't think there's anything wrong, he still checks. I don't know the other mechanics, but they are always friendly and helpful. The prices are fair, in fact I think they are great compared to other shops. They service my car and my company car and I don't trust anyone else to do that. Way to go guys!!

Let's be honest. A friendly atmosphere while at the dentist can have a calming effect while you're racked out at the dentist amd everyone there knows toure about to be immolatted
The same can almost be offensive and nerve racking while having service repair work done to your vehicle.
Questions like : Whats wrong? How long will this take? How many limbs will I need to sell in order to pay this off?!
Swanstrom's Auto Repair service technicians handle all this in a manner designed to keep you honestly informed and intelligently advised (whens the last time your weekend garage buddy told you that "he didn't know but I'll go find out" pr the 7hour long DIY YouTube video updated with "so. 2 weeks later and that didn't work so disregard that other video").
We've all been concerned about our vehicles and we all know the "extended warranty" scams by now...

They didn't have a record of the appointment I made because they "don't actually pay attention to that," (meaning the calendar) and the tech was gone driving someone home or something when I arrived. It was a 50-minute drive to get there too.What is typically a 15-minute visit during my lunch break turned out to be 1.5 hours and I got written up by my employer as a result. No apologies for the MAJOR INCONVENIENCE! Not cool Swanstrom.

Recently have been chasing an AC issue in my fiances 2015 sonic. They did an amazing job making sure we knew exactly what was going on and when. We were in the hospital having a baby the day the car was done and they let me leave it after paying to pick it up when we could and it left with amazing working AC. Couldn't of asked for a better experience.

Called with an emergency as my power steering fluid was leaking.....they were booked until June 8th but Sheri checked & said to bring it in to have them look. Went right over & Dan knew what needed to be done, said they would get it in. Sooo appreciated that as we are from out of town.
