I always though of Good Will to be a place that supports those who are at a lower poverty level or cannot afford new retail items, but instead it has a tendency to be extremely expensive and sometimes too expensive for the condition of their item(s). There are times that I can find a decent deal on items, but more often than not I am spending way more than expected and leaving with very little. Some products I have found to be more cost effective at Walmart or other local businesses, including the Dollar Tree. There have also been many occasions as to where I have found items that are broken, not complete, and /or unusable and these items are typically overly priced. I give it 2 stars because the staff are generally helpful and friendly and they appear to always be doing their best to keep their shelves organized and clean.

I really like this Goodwill.
Generally I prefer a smaller, quainter thrift store, but this is my favorite one in Alex.
There’s always fun little nicknacks and trinkets to look through at reasonable prices. Plenty of baby toys which is great if you have one. The turnover rate is pretty high, so you’ll always find plenty of new things even if you were just there the week prior.
I like to go here all the time.
My one complaint is that the prices are higher than a smaller, quainter thrift shop would often be, but still often a steal

The prices at this Good Will are outrageous. I won't shop here. I'll buy new for the prices they want which have been increasing over time.

I've been a good worker and got treated poorly then got chosen over a lazy employee, I've always shown up on time and early at times then I get fired out of nowhere because I "slammed" a door at someone who was threatening me then getting in my face, I told hr that I wasn't comfortable and safe in my work environment then few days later I got called to be fired, I don't know what I did to deserve this but I've been working there since August.

I’d like to say this. Our large family has donated to Goodwill for years. We are disappointed with your service (or non service).We are disappointed with:1. Your return policy. It’s ridiculous to sell products that people can only try out at home, and expect them to come back and quickly look for something to exchange it for. It’s a terrible policy for customers. Why not give your customers a choice of return for exchange or cash back?2. Your prices are exorbitant, compared to other thrift stores.3. Your discounts for seniors only reaches that small percentage of us who can go there only on certain days. Why not let seniors have a discount any day of the week, when they are able to get there? Most seniors are living on meager social security checks. Please reconsider this policy.4. To ask us to “round up” to the nearest dollar is rude, when we’re already donating our items , and donating our payments for items. I’m sorry, it’s just rude.Thank you for listening, and please consider revamping your policies.Sincerely,Kori WilliamsMinnesota customer

Walmart has brand new clothing for similar prices. You will find an occasional, reasonably priced item at Goodwill, but most is overpriced - especially when you consider they get all the stuff they sell for free. Try other thrift stores.

Just incredibly expensive. Everything they sale is given to them for FREE, it makes absolutely no sense. This company and CEO is GREEDY. It’s no longer about helping people and others trying to budget like me. No longer shopping here or any Goodwill.

They certainly know what they want for things. I was looking for a mixing bowl and couldn't believe the prices.....$8.99 for a used mixing bowl....and not an antique....and nothing special. We left and purchased elsewhere.

I hadn't been to Goodwill for quite a while but I happened to glance at the clothes and was surprised at the prices for used clothing. Have gotten to expensive for what they sell. Other thrift stores are cheaper and for what they want for used clothing you can go to Walmart and buy brand new for that price.
