I love Dr Wessling he is a great vet!
Recently when I went in to make an appointment with Dr. Wessling because my 14 year old cat would not eat or drink any more on Monday to make an appointment to have her seen they made me an appointment for 1 week later! So I guess they were hoping for my cat to die!
I have lost total faith in the receptionists at South Centeral Pet Clinic! I have always paid my bill! I may have a heart for animals and can not stand to see an animal suffer! That is why I am an animal care specialist and the way they treated my cat when she wasn't eating or drinking wasn't right! If I would have been anybody that did not have the education on how to hydrate your cat my cat may have dehydrated and died!
Love the veterinarian wish he had office people as good as he is!

Dr. Wessling is an excellent veterinarian who is dedicated, personable, he goes above and beyond. We very much appreciate having him in Albert Lea for many years!

Did a great job caring for my sick pup Ruby. Given meds, got an appointment in a reasonable time frame. Staff was very caring & excellent with explaining things to me & caring for her. Will continue going there, actually going to change vet clinics now to them.

They weren't able to get us in this time, but we had moved to Owatonna and weren't able to get in until the next day there, either. We know how tough it is these days, so we understood and thankfully, our dog did fine, waiting until the following day. South Central Pet Care was our go to for 33 years before we moved and they were so good to all of our pets. The kindness and care shown to us and our pets through the years, by Dr. Larson, Dr. Wessling and many of their staff, will always be remembered. Best wishes to all of you.

The caring and professional staff helped me with final arrangements for my sweet kitten who passed away suddenly. They offered many special touches including a custom made urn and clay paw print to remember my fur baby. They even took the time and care to send me a card with their condolences. This clinic is clean and efficient. Highly recommend! They are busy, so leave a message and check your phone, when they are unable to answer they have sent me a text which is helpful and appreciated.

I have used SCVC for over 30 years. The best vets in town. My dogs feel very comfortable going here and the staff is very compassionate. I have never had a bad experience. Even at the worst times as I am saying goodbye to my pets the staff has always been amazing.

3 times been given bad advice or terrible prescriptions that have cost us dearly in additional emergency vet bills, with the other vets always questioning the original diagnosis and prescription.
