One checkout today, I was 2nd in line. Customers stacking up behind me. finally directed to another check out. After unloading my groceries onto conveyor belt, terminal wasn't working after she scanned all my items. We loaded up groceries and taken to another check out to scan again. The celery was wilted, one stalk had some bug infestation. After arriving home my wife compared your food item prices to Walmarts, you were $7.89 MORE for same items. We'll not shop at HyVee again.

It's so strange how they'll sometimes ask for my I.D but nobody else in the store when I'm there. They aren't following the law, they're just picking and choosing because you "look like the type"

They are extremely inconsistent with checking IDs. They almost never check anyone's ID unless they are suspicious. When they do decide to check my ID on rare occasions, I'll ask them why they didn't check anyone else's in the store at the time and their response is always something along the lines of "we don't have to check everyones" It's blatant discrimination. Careful tho because they'll sell your underage kids alcohol without any worries.

It was my 21st birthday, and I went in not knowing what to drink. A lovely associate by the name of Karli was wonderful enough to give me many suggestions. 10/10 experience! I hope to see her every time I go back.
