My 9lb Yorkie dog was attacked by a another huge dog! After bringing her in 2 days in a row to the Albert Lea Vet Clinic, the 2nd night she started to have blood come out of her butt!! And it was not just once or twice, either. She was bleeding pretty bad. So I called right away when they opened the next morning at 8:30 & asked if the Dr could please call me back. No response by noon, so I called back & they said the Dr had gone to lunch, they would call me back at 1:00. No call back at all that day!! So I called back the next day at 1:00. I didn't call earlier because I thought they might call me back as I had been there twice earlier in the week & had spent a little bit of money there, BUT I didn't want to harrass them either! They were closed!! It was a Friday. I hadn't realized they closed early on Fridays! So I just went ahead & left a message at the Dr's home asking if they could call me so I could please get an idea so I could take her somewhere else. Well no one EVER called me back!! So I just went ahead & went to another vet! She was bleeding internally & they never bothered to call me!! Thank God there is another vet here that is compassionate & willing to call you back & also willing to squeeze you in at any time!!! If Albert Lea Vet Clinic couldn't have seen me, the least they could have done was return my phone calls!! That is just bad business!!!!! ?

They took great care of our cat when it was an after hours emergency and took him in between appointments the following day to ensure X-rays and care could be completed.

Been taking my babies to this vet for years and never once have they been friendly - just plain trailer trash. I let it go to see if I notice a pattern and finally decided to bring it to Dr. Dan Smith’s attention - he seemed surprised when there a NUMEROUS other reviews on here about how RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL they are. You want to do business with people who actually care about your pets irrespective of the owner’s race - how will they treat your babies behind close doors when to your face they are so unclassy and have no decency to treat everyone with curtesy and respect who are paying for their service?

I called at 10 am this morning saying something was seriously wrong with my guinea pig and they said they’d have someone call me back and they never did so at 1:15 pm I called back and they said “Oh sorry the Drs gone now for the day. So we don’t know what to tell you.” This is unacceptable as they had over three hours to call me back and never did and now it is too late to bring him anywhere else so I’m afraid he won’t make it til tomorrow when someone else could possibly see him. ?

My little Corgi "Buddy" had an ear infection and the doctor diagnosed and treated him in a very timely manner at the very end of the day for a very reasonable price. Thank you Albert Lea veterinarian clinic.

Dr. Marion and staff have been extremely helpful, going above and beyond for my dog who has been going through a rough time lately with severe seizures. I can't thank them enough for all their help!

So I was forced to declaw my cat. My cats stayed up there for 2 days. And when I got them back They did not have bandages on their feet. The youngest cat was bleeding Quite a bit and the oldest cat was limping and is still after 4 days so we will see if Recovery goes well..... Pls do not declaw your cat
