This was a neat place to visit. The guys and gal bathrooms were unique. The guys door held closed with a computer device by string. And the ladies had what reminds me of outdoor like spigot and a bucket for the sink. Was nearby the campsite we were located.

Used to be a good spot to stop. As a local it's the closest place at the moment to pick up what's needed quickly, or get what USED to be great food for the family but as of lately I am willing to drive out of my way for even just a loaf of bread! EVERYTHING is over priced!!

Been visiting Malmo market for as long as I can remember. It is super disappointing to see what it is today. Brought the entire family up for ice cream and got some minnows. They skimped on all of it. Literally counted my minnows by the original guy and then a second guy came to verify I got a dozen and counted again. The ice cream barely filled the cup. I will not be coming back.

The customer service here has been notoriously terrible for a long time. As a local I used to be in there every other day, and now with how rude a majority of the employees have gotten, I'd rather make the drive anywhere else around the lake. It would be a shame if it wasn't cheaper to go elsewhere anyways, even including the cost of gas. I'm sorry we've got to get off of our phones to do the job we get paid for, but it's unfortunately part of having a job.

This is under new ownership. They still serve ice cream but it’s nothing like it used to be. They can’t seem to get it right as communication is a huge barrier. It’s pointing to cones and ice cream flavors. Only thing they understand is “2 scoops that they ask”. Then the 1 scoop equals 1/2 cup. So what once was giant scoops of ice cream is now 1 cup in a huge waffle cone that barely covers the cone and I kept saying that’s not enough ice cream!!! Bad sign, he didn’t put on gloves to handle the cone nor use a napkin to wrap the cone. It’s sadly the way it is. It’s my 2nd visit with these new owners. I had to coax them to scoop more like the ladies did before these new people took over. I’m curious what’s going to happen when the ice cream cone rush comes in July. Based on my 2 recent visits customers will stop buying ice cream cones there. I’m not planning on returning anytime soon. I would if they hire the 3 ladies back. There is a sign on the door looking to hire. I can’t imagine working for them when the owners are scooping out ice cream like they have alligator arms.If you can’t scoop the ice cream, hire someone who can!

My debit card doesn't work at the pumps and the place has ridiculous high prices. To make matters worse many items don't have a price on the shelf, and many if those that do will ring up higher than the price tag. A few locals told me the place was recently bought and put under new ownship and that the new owner immediately began raising prices to increase their profits. I highly recommend driving down to Isle if you can, the time spent and gas consumed to do so is worth it.

I was looking for ice cream on the way home from a long cabin weekend in the Deerwood / Aitkin area and this place popped up. They have a lot of hardware store type items and would be a good place to stop for boating or basic cabin hardware needs in the area.When I walked up, people were eating ice cream out front which was a good sign.They had hard ice cream and a basic two-scoop cone was HUGE! Stop in for ice cream with kids if you're in the area!
