I like the pharmacists at Walgreens. They take the time to answer questions even when they are very busy.

transferred prescriptions here from Rite Aid (closing); what a huge difference in the negative, slow service, higher prices, refused Good RX coupons on some Rx's; Hard to get anyone to answer phones, and my doctor office tried to correct one Rx and was on hold 40 minutes on the doctor only line waiting for someone to answer until they gave up. There for my problem could not be resolved. I would pay huge price increase to have Rite Aid still in business compared to Walgreens.

Horrible. Pharmacy counter person- African American woman very rude and not polite. She definitely needs a sit down with a manager to work on customer service skills. But if possible not the manager in pharmacy either, maybe a new manager. If you need a pharmacy I highly suggest going somewhere else.

I might as well go somewhere else. 3 months ago I refilled a script in their automated system and it could only be ready days after I needed. Fine, I accepted it later than needed since no one would answer the phone. Went to pick it up and they said nothing came through. Had to wait 40 minutes in the parking lot. They set me up to automatically refill and I’d be notified by text. Now months later I need to fill again. No text. Call to refill and I can’t have it until Monday. Called to get it sooner and I was put on hold several times. I’m about to drive over there and scream at the manager because this is infuriating. I don’t think I’m coming back after this refill

Unbelievable. Waiting for 23 minutes for someone to pick up the phone in the pharmacy department all the while somebody was just picking up the phone and setting it back down to make it stop ringing in the store. So done with this place. Terrible customer service for sick people just trying to fill their prescription.

Waited for an hour in line to pick up meds that were ready and paid for, only to have the staff person ask me to pay again. This Walgreens has been notoriously bad ever since the other one on Michigan Ave shut down, but this is a new low.

The pharmacist here is beyond rude. He talks down to you. He has zero sense of customer service. Says he is going to do something and doesn't. Honesty one of the rudest people I've ever come in contact with I was very blown away. I left a message to speak to a manager who was suppose to call me back nothing. So I guess Apple.. tree.

walgreens hq PLEASE help your pharmacy techs. i have never had a positive experience here and i always have to wait at least thirty minutes in line (after waiting 3 days for my fully in-stock script to be filled). I thought walgreens was swamped and understaffed due to covid, but after three years i think it's the norm now for every walgreens pharmacy to be a logistical and customer service nightmare. DONT BLAME INDIVIDUAL TECHS-THIS IS CLEARLY A TOP-DOWN ISSUE. walgreens hq needs to implement some training or policy because i've genuinely considered stopping taking my medications because of how much i hate dealing with this pharmacy every month.

The Michigan Ave and prospect location that was a decent place to walk to on a short break or thirty minutes lunch. The dollar store that took over and also had mentioned their threats TOWARDS applying for employment positions , ALSO CVS and Walmarts really ignorant of those that selfish that remark about employment being a joke. BUSINESS JUGGLING .

This review is for the automated phone system. I could drive there by the time I can get through to a pharmacist. 12 minutes and never got through! Screw that.

Don’t trust this place. They take more than forever getting prescriptions out in the drive thru, and they always have issues regarding insurances. Very unprofessional.

The store is often poorly stocked. Some of the employees are very nice.After so many times of waiting 8 deep in the drive through line or worse inside the store I moved my prescriptions to a mail order pharmacy.Now they are delivered to my home and there is no standing in line or waiting in the drive through.

This place has terrible customer service. Make an appointment at the pharmacy and you might as well be a walk in with a minimum 45 minute wait. Similar wait to the ER on a Friday night.
