Never ever use Superior Wholesale for designs. We asked for a design a month ago and Kimberley never even started. She would always say it would be done later today and that went on for over two weeks straight. Absolute awful customer services and fulfillment. Would NOT recommend!

The staff was helpful and communicated well, with fast reply, and delivery of materials. I had compost, sand, pea stone and “mulch” delivered with full loads of each. Unfortunately the “mulch” is chipper fodder, with no mulch to be found, but massive tree parts and asphalt chunks fettered the mix. This is wood chip, not anywhere close to mulch. I was basically stolen from, as I paid for this garbage load and it was the first load delivered so it sat for a few days before I discovered the dismal quality of this material. The other materials were acceptable. The “garden mix” I think they call their compost smelled heavily of decay and rot, closer to mulch than the wood chips though. Time will tell if my garden likes the soil. I won’t order from these guys again. I am unable to use this chip in my garden and it has become a very expensive load of garbage I pushed off to the side of my property.

I hired Superior Landscaping to plant 75 Arborvitae trees. The crew that arrived came and hand dug small holes and planted the trees. I was told to water them heavily, later that year they started to die off. It took me several months to get a reply and after a lot of back and forth they came out and replaced 8 trees. The guy who came out said the trees should have never been planted because the ground is too wet. He asked if the planting crew said anything I told him they said the opposite to water heavily. He shook his head and planted the 8 trees offset from the original ones. He then informed me to not worry about watering them. Well this year we are situation with multiple dead trees. Picture are from this year. I would save your money and go with someone more experienced in tree planting and grow.

I was told to water them heavily, later that year they started to die off. It took me several months to get a reply and after a lot of back and forth they came out and replaced 8 trees. The guy who came out said the trees should have never been planted because the ground is too wet. He asked if the planting crew said anything I told him they said the opposite to water heavily. Great place to buy quality plants at a reasonable price.Cheaper than Lucas, Home Depot, Lowes, or any other plant nursery in Ann Arbor area. Have already been recommended this place to friends and family.

Ordered a yard of river rock and got a lot of sand. Also got a lot of broken concrete. Tried calling to understand what happened and was promised someone would call me back, but nobody did. Definitely not worth $50 for the rocks.

In May of 2021 I contracted Superior Landscape Companies to complete an outdoor patio and install an Egress window. The project was mostly completed in mid to late July; however, not 100% complete.During the course of the project, my sump pump drain line needed to be moved from the original location.Upon moving the line, workers under the supervision of Superior Landscape Companies, broke the existing line requiring the line to be replaced. In order to replace the line, a section of drywall in my basement had to be removed. The drywall was subsequently replaced. However, the drywall was not restored to its original condition and still, to this day, requires mudding, taping, and painting.This issue has been brought to their attention on numerous documented occasions through emails, text, and a legal letter notice and yet the work still remains unfinished. They also refuse to provide me with the receipt and warranty documents for my egress window they installed. Because they lost money on my job, they are saying I owe them more money.Final payment for the project was tendered on 07/29/2021. The final payment amount was confirmed by their sales representative. Final payment was noted on the check. The check was cashed the same day, and no further correspondence regarding any outstanding amount was sent or communicated to me until I demanded the work be completed in November of 2021, in excess of 90 days after cashing my check.I reported them to the BBB but Superior Landscape Companies did not respond to the complaint. They have many bad reviews. I wish I would have researched feedback about them before letting them touch my yard.

First off, I can't speak for their landscaping services. Maybe they're fantastic. But they don't have the attitudes to match. Their staff thinks it's acceptable to block literally every single pump at a gas station (all 20 pumps) with their truck and trailer rigs and loiter in the parking lot while just a few fill up. I drive a 28' trailer on the weekends. I get it, it can be hard to find places to park and gas stations big enough to fill up in, but there was more than ample space to have parked elsewhere at this location. That behavior is unacceptable, especially from a business.I arrived with 0 miles of range and just enough time to fill up before work. The amount of unnecessary anxiety this incident caused me was completely uncalled for. If you're going to support ignorant and inconsiderate behavior from your employees, I suggest requesting they do it in vehicles without your logo pasted everywhere.

I had a load of gravel and sand delivered. Friendly front office staff and friendly dump truck driver (Tom), who arrived on the schedule I requested! I got the material within days of ordering.

Superior Nursery planted more than 50 arborvitae trees for us, the crew was friendly and planted the trees as we wanted them. We were also able to pick the trees at the nursery to be planted. When there was a miscommunication between the crew and the office staff, the office staff (Kim) listened to our concerns and resolved them immediately. Highly recommend this place! We would definitely go back if we need any landscaping work in the future.
