Really lovely shop for beading, and the owner is so encouraging and kind! They offer classes to learn and have a great variety of beads in store at very reasonable prices. I highly recommend stopping by if you're looking for crafty inspiration ❤️

I visited Stony Creek Bead last week and had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Kim. What a beautiful store! Kim has a great variety of beads and findings, plus amazing handcrafted jewelry for sale. I love to check out local bead stores and was really impressed. If you're a beader or if you are looking for some unique, hand made jewelry, you won't be disappointed. I look forward to going back.

I called to see if they had materials for wire wrapping and she said yes. When I arrived there the store was small and no materials for wire wrapping other than a few small amounts of bead wire which a not the same. Wasted trip.

It’s a field trip, but so worth it! Kim has such a wonderful, welcoming store. As a lifelong beader, just when I think I have everything ever made, I find something in her store that I don’t have but HAVE to have. I’m heading there tomorrow with a friend who has dipped her toe into beads. This will be fun!

I went in a half hour before closing time on a holiday weekend (looking back, what was I thinking?) and the owner, Kim, could not have been more helpful or kind. She truly knows her stuff (I clearly am a beginner) and helped answer so many questions I had. Her work was displayed around the store and I loved the variety, something for everyone including kids. I can’t wait to go back, which will definitely be sooner rather than later. And they have classes! I have yet to find any around Ann Arbor, so more kudos.

11/10 would recommend Stony Creek Bead! I wanted to create a unique wedding gift for my wife on our big day and the owner Kim was SO helpful. I knew nothing about beads or creating jewelry and she lead me through the ENTIRE process! I eventually created the PERFECT set of bracelets that my wife LOVED on our big day.

Wonderful bead store for serious beaders or even preteen hobbyists… my daughter found a bunch of adorable fruit, mushroom, and flower beads that we haven’t found anywhere else, and we both found great patterns and beads for bead weaving.The gallery is amazing, too… wonderful bracelets and necklaces and there are gorgeous Christmas ornaments right now (November).Kim is so helpful and friendly and handles all questions with expertise and kindness. We live in Ohio but will be stopping by Stony Creek Bead every time we go to Michigan!
