Dr Karr and his vet techs are outstanding! My dog needed emergency medication just before Christmas after she caught an infection from my other dog. I emailed Dr Karr’s office and he was able to get her medication ready for pick up within an hour. His office is always very prompt, thorough, and courteous. They genuinely care about the well being of their clients. For routine visits, Dr Karr sees each patient individually and really takes his time to do a proper examination and make your pet comfortable. Every pet owner I have met in his office has been extremely pleased with the care he and his staff provide for their pets. I would highly recommend Pittsfield Pet Care and Dr Karr to any pet owner.

I love this place! The staff are friendly and helpful, and Dr. Karr is gentle, responsive, and he goes out of his way to help my doggos. I had to move out of the area and will need to find a new vet, and I was sad to have to leave Pittsfield Pet Care!

Do not recommend. We regularly boarded our dog here and were told "she did great!" Then Dr. Karr abruptly informed us (after someone else at Pittsfield already confirmed we were booked, and we'd made travel plans, which we then had to cancel) that our dog was too anxious to be boarded. This came out of nowhere and really makes us wonder what, exactly, is going on there.
