Meijer is a family-owned, one-stop shop in Ypsilanti, MI, offering great food, brands, and value. It features fresh produce, custom-cut meats, seafood, and daily baked bread. The store has over 40 departments, from pet brands to family fashions, with low prices and weekly specials. Reviews note friendly cashiers, convenient parking, and a helpful bagger. The store is sometimes not busy. However, long lines have been a persistent problem. Prices are fair, but some sales are misleading, and large sizes are not always the best deals. The excellent store brand requires careful attention to labeling due to uniform packaging. Issues include dented cans, cut boxes, and frequent stock problems, making items hard to find in the evening or if shelves are not yet stocked. The best time to visit is around 10:30 am. Nutrition supplements are often BOGO. The non-grocery selection is just fair, and the store is no longer open 24 hours. A positive feature is the bus stop right in front. The meat department updates have disappointed some shoppers. The store layout is similar to Kroger and Target, with a huge clothing section but no fitting room. Prices are on the expensive side, though it does offer reasonably priced sushi bowls.
Great place for one stop shopping. Everything from lobster tails to car batteries!

This is my go to place, and always will be. However I'm desperately looking for a job and the only opening is 3rd shift frozen? In a store this size you don't need openers? RRALLY?

Friendly cashier, convenient parking, and I got most everything on my list. Had a bagger at check out. Oh how I miss them.
