We requested a quote for asignificant job and someone came out to discuss the work. Quote was never provided even though I reached out to the company twice. It was disappointing to say the least.

They removed and replaced a tree and two over grown shrubs in front of my house. Recut all my mulch areas and added new mulch. They did an excellent job and a terrific job of cleaning up after. Really appreciate Uri and his friendly crew of Jeff, Damian, David, Kelly and Karen.Service: Installation

We purchased 11 trees and bushes with planting and 1-year warranty included. After multiple attempts they replaced 2-3 bushes which died soon after planting. The planting was relatively shallow and three more bushes died. They do not respond to text messages or phone calls, and the warranty expired. Nice individuals to deal with during purchase, not responsive when time comes to honor the warranty, though.Service: Installation

We got soil delivered from Margolis this summer, and were extremely disappointed by the quality. We got a 60/40 soil/compost blend for our raised garden beds.

Ask for a quote for landscaping on a new construction. Appointment set and did not show. Called and the person I spoke with said that was not what typically happens and they would call back later. Never did. I guess it is what happens!!

We've worked with them twice, once when we planned and purchased materials for a paver patio project, then again ten years later when we needed some upkeep and paver leveling done. Our first purchase with them went well and they were helpful with material estimates and planning. As for our second experience with them, it appears they were in a hurry to get the job done and the quality of their work fell short of our expectations. After calling them several times and explaining the issues with their work, we could never get them to come back out to address the problems. We were disappointed in the lack of customer service and the results of the work they did. It has taken an additional six hours of work to correct their mistakes. (Wrong color pavers used, failure to complete the job, use of substandard material, failure to follow up, etc.) I would not recommend them for paver work.

Margolis Nursery is our landscaping and snowblower business to go to for their outstanding service and exceptional attention to detail. I am writing this looking out at frigid conditions, business are closed today, and Margolis guys are still here doing exceptional work shoveling walks on a very snowy day. Margolis did an awesome job plowing our driveway/parking lot yesterday, which was no small task considering how much snow we had. Very nice, polite and thorough gentleman.

I went to this business today because my boyfriend mentioned their Groupon. I went alone and was surprised as I was immediately greeted when I arrive. Unlike chain gardening/nurseries I was asked if I needed help. I was looking for a lilac bush and found one that I really loved. I was so happy to find a place that sold something other than Miss Kim Lilac's. Pro: The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to go the extra distance to help me out. I did not have a groupon but I still got a bit of a discount. The man who carried my flower and put it in my car for me (did I mention the superb customer service) also informed me that they do lawn mowing services in the summer, leaf removal in the fall, and snow removal in the winter. Cons: They did not sell annuals. They sell more bushes, trees, and shrubs than they do smaller flowers although they did have some small potted perennials. They is the only reason I am not giving them 5 stars.
