I should have come here first. Jafferson is knowledgeable, clear, patient, and affordable. They were in touch with updates and did not push extra services or hardware on me. They outlined what I needed and let me decide what I wanted. Like I said, I am coming here first from now on.

Quoted what it turns out was pretty high price (over $200) to fix an issue telling me how complex the repair was. Did not tell me there was a SUPER simple work around to fix the problem without any repair at all! A very non-technical friend did. I had the problem evaluated by someone else who fixed it in under 15 minutes, while I waited, and for under $60. Also purchased a power cord here (for 2-3Xs what I would pay on Internet) thinking it of course would be made by the laptop manufacturer as someone who repairs computers should know the issues knock-offs can create. Turned out it was a knock off and failed in a matter of months.

Though respectful and very transparent with the work, I attempted to have my playstation repaired here, a simple HDMI port replacement. I'm not sure what happened, but the motherboard now needs replacement or repair. I unfortunately can't reccomend. Didn't even get a refund

Mateen diagnosed the problems with my old MacBook Pro and then rebuilt me a new one at a fair price. It included new software and a new hard drive with a five year warranty. Everything is still working fine seven months later.
For great customer service, quality work, and fair prices, I recommend Jefferson to anyone who will listen. Thanks Mateen!!!

My screen broke, they told me exactly how much and what they needed to do, and it was done swiftly. There is also a one year warranty on the screen if the part is faulty. And a discount for next time! Plus everyone I interacted with was kind, and went above and beyond the call of duty.

My camera went out on my Lenovo Ideapad. I called an 800 tech support number to try to have it fixed remotely, but they could not. Next, I took it to a local onsite repair shop in Ann Arbor to no avail. Finally, after googling different repair places, I took it to Jafferson Computers where they were able to fix it for a more than reasonable price. I'm happy to report that my shopping around for computer repairs is over!

Charged me $30 for a cord that goes for $10 all day long on amazon. And of course they will not give you a refund, only store credit. They don't want to give you your money back once you realize you've been taken advantage of. I knew while buying that they were charging me triple the price, but I am in a position where I can afford it and needed the cord today, couldn't wait until tomorrow for it. However, people that do not know about computers and don't have extra money to blow, be warned, you can easily pay much less if you don't mind waiting another day. I cannot attest to their pc repair skills, as I am able to handle that myself, but I'm sure that they charge way more than necessary for repair as well.
