Extremely rude short guy. He always acted like he doesn't belong in a grocery store. Yelling on the phone when I called regarding product availability. He is related to the owner, otherwise would have been fired long ago.Go to 168 in Madison Heights instead!

Watch out for expired foods. We got stuff here only to find out they were expired! Chips, noodles, etc.

Very nice and well stocked market. Everything I've ever bought here has been a better version of that thing than anywhere else has.

Nice variety and prices. My original review was from 4 years ago as a student nearby. Today I came in and was followed around while shopping by one specific lady who I'm assuming didn't see me walking in originally but after seeing me (black female big coat cause it's December) decided she should face every aisle I go into. Even up until I came to the register and she came right around I guess checking to make sure someone is up front and I don't walk out. I asked the lady up front if people steal often and I noticed the woman following me, and she confirmed it. I understand it is a small business but there were other people shopping. Sad because I never had this issue before and I'm not sure if it's because I'm black or because I looked like I just got off of work and nit much money. Not sure if I'll come back before I visit other markets. I us ed to recommend but I would hate for someone to go through what I did.

There aren't many asian grocery stores in Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti, but Hua Xing is by far the best. Their selection is bigger, their produce fresher, and their service kinder! Their snack selection is pretty good as is their selection of ramen and sauces. They also have a nice section for cookingware and plenty of noodles.

Excellent selection of foods and kitchen utensils. You won’t find a more varied selection of noodles anywhere else. I’ve shopped here dozens of times of times over the years and am always happy with the product selection and quality.

They have a large selection of produce that is hard to find elsewhere. The shelf stable foods are well rotated and have a good variety. Lots of vegan options and snacks galore. If you need house wares they got you covered as far as kitchen supplies. They also have a large collection of medicinal teas that put other places to shame. The prices are fair and the checkout is always fast. The only real downside is trying to leave on washtenaw Ave. It sucks lol but they can't control that. I can't speak for the fresh meat and seafood they have available due to me not eating that.

Love this place. I've been going every week lately. Large selection of ingredients for different cuisines, decent amount of produce and refrigerated or frozen goods. I love that I can buy veggies, fish balls, and dried shiitake by weight! Keep in mind the $10 credit minimum, grab something extra or bring cash for smaller trips. Friendly staff.

Great selection of dry, frozen, canned/bottled products. The fresh produce section was on the small side, but it wasn’t the primary purpose for our trip so we didn’t take too close a look at their selection.Staff was friendlier and more helpful than I’m used to, and spoke better English than expected, coming from Flushing NY.While there’s a noticeable smell of herbal medicine and fish, it’s one of the least pungent Asian markets I’ve ever been to, including stores in Chinatown and Flushing, that has both live fish and herbal medicine. If you’re used to those markets, you probably won’t even notice the smell.

The manager Jay Wang refused to rectify the mistake made by the store. The store mis-labeled price and it just happen I caught it this time. Please double check your receipts!!Not only that, Jay Wang the manager tried to give me empty business card when I asked for, trying to hide his identity. What shame a good store should hire such inexperienced manager...

An expansive grocery store with a great selection of packaged and fresh food. A great selection of dining and cooking tools. Multiple varieties of sauces and spices to suit your needs. You can find a variety of meat and vegetable dumplings, steamed buns, and other frozen foods. Bulk nuts, gifts, snacks, treats, and just about everything you need to supply a kitchen.
