“They helped us get financed to buy our home even with questionable credit. Besides a couple of small let downs like it was supposed to come with a washer and dryer and it did not. Fridge died after 3 months but they helped us get a used replacement. So far everything else has been really good. Not a bad place to live. Clean, well take n care of.”
“I ‘ve had a great experience living at this apartment community .The staff is always professional and friendly . Special thanks to DEARL from maintenance for handling my recent sink drain issue and made sure every thing was working perfectly . Highly recommend this place .”
“I'm in heaven. Actually I moved today not having been at my as well be at the fabulous Town Center apartments. I have the most fantastic view. I have been spoiled because they put in brand new carpeting which is beautiful as well as a brand new stove that has not been used as of yet. There are more outlets and lights making everything convenient. There is a little pantry at the end of the kitchen as well as another large pantry / closet at the entrance of the apartment. I don't have to get quarters to do laundry because you can use a pay card that you can load money on to. They have coffee every morning from 8:00 to 10:00 in the community room for the residents. About six different people today working diligently from cleaning to maintenance. I must have special attention to Renee who is it has been an extraordinary value in terms of assistance through this entire process which was simplistic and did not take long at all. I want to give a shout out to Sarah who has been nothing less than charming and incredibly helpful with great information. One final thought. This setup they have for moving in is the most convenient I have ever seen. There are two elevators in the building. When you move in you have one elevator only to yourself that will take you straight to your floor and I'm near the top. I am unbelievably grateful.”
“Everyone I worked with at Maurer was incredibly kind, responsive and helpful. They are proactive and responsive on maintnance and generally very easy to work with. I move frequently for seasonal work and they stand out as one of the best property managment companies I have rented from. They are a small family run outfit and you can tell they care about their community and tenants :)”
“Fairway Trails is a Heavenly Paradise for my roommate Eugene and I. The layout and design is perfect and so airy, the water is beyond sparkling and fresh to drink and shower in and makes extra yummy ice cubes. Neighobrs are friendly. location is safe, management is friendly and professional, grounds and buildings always look stellar, maintenance is out of this world incredible. good positive vibes all around, trees and nature everyhwere. We enjoy thne bus route too. After renewing our lease the 2nd time this complex gifted us $40 on a laundry card, so very generous!!! this is not an apartment, this is a cozy home.”
“I'm revising my review. While I was living in the apartment, the managers were kind, but after I returned to Korea, I was very disappointed that despite contacting them several times about the deposit, I received no response. That's why I left an angry review. Thankfully, after leaving the review, Terri Neely contacted me, and I was able to get my deposit back safely, so I'm revising my review. To evaluate the apartment complex as a whole once more, while the final response was a bit disappointing, I was very satisfied with the apartment for the price. If you're planning to commute in Ann Arbor, I'd tell taking a tour of this apartment complex. Living there, I enjoyed the free pool, gym, and tennis courts, and the balconies in each unit were nice.”
“Shawn at intake has been extremely helpful in helping me set up my move in. The energy I've felt so far and the interactions I've had with the staff have me excited to be moving in to this community. Thanks for being so kind and welcoming Arbor One!”
“I recently moved out of Aspen Chase after almost five years. My review will be mixed.
I was not really a fan because of various things like the state of safety - the hostage situation this year, police looking for someone with a gun, and restaurants not delivering because drivers had been stopped at gun point. I grew frustrated with the gym equipment being broken and the pool seemingly always closed when I wanted to go. The maintenance work on a wall that developed a crack from the upstairs neighbor having a leaky pipe was poorly patched up, making my apartment look bad. I had very loud neighbors and people have had packages stolen. I had the misfortune of trying to bring a package up to avoid that and falling down the stairs and being hospitalized with a mild TBI.
Now, I live at the Villas and it's a *downgrade* compared to Aspen Chase. Although the above problems made me want to leave, the biggest PLUS of Aspen Chase is how they maintain their buildings. I've seen people come to vacuum the carpets, clean outside, and wipe the doors and windows quite regularly. That's important to me and shows they care at least about making their property habitable. This is the opposite at the Villas, unfortunately. I would be embarrassed to invite anyone over with how filthy my building is.
Seeing this stark contrast makes me wish I had renewed my lease at Aspen Chase. The location is also perfect for me as a commuter, despite relying on a cane when walking outdoors. I underestimated how much I would miss living at Aspen Chase.
So although I had some negative experiences during my time living at Aspen Chase, the positive aspects did make it worth living there. I'll say that I did live in the building closer to International so that makes a difference. I've heard it's worse in the back buildings, but I can't personally speak to that.
All in all, I'd want to live there again. I promise no one paid me to say this lol. I hope my review makes sense.”
