Incident happened to a fellow hockey family. “I received an email hours ahead of our (family of 5) arrival to the hotel with a room type change from a double queen with full sleeper sofa to just a double queen. I called the hotel to see what our options were. They took absolutely no accountability on their end and wanted me to pay for another room for the weekend as they don't have rollaways. The hotels GM, Katrina, insisted that this was the fault of the tournament organizer and the room type we requested was not in the contract so she was unwilling to accommodate us. When I said that her sales director is culpable for not making sure things were correct, she said she didn't like my attitude and canceled our reservation altogether! I asked if she was seriously putting a family out in a blizzard because she won't take any responsibility. I contacted Big Bear aka Team Travel Source to find out what actually happened and request our deposit and fees back. She pulled up the contract and did that if was indeed in the contract the way they sold it and the hotels sales director missed the error on the contract. I certainly hope this hotel is removed from the tournaments list in the future.” This hotel needs to take accountability, hotel business is pure hospitality and this falls very short of the expectations I and most others have.

We were in town for a sporting event. Location is perfect. I booked the room through the link the team sent- then got worried when I realized the hotel only showed 2 star. The room is clean. The pool is nice. The staff has been great. They are extremely busy but when I needed something from the front desk they jumped on it. We haven't been to breakfast yet but so far our experience is great. Definitely not a 2 star hotel.

Let first start off by saying I would give a better review if the night shift staff would have not been extremely rude and disrespectful and then try to Argue with me. Here is part of the problem she is black and I am a white gay man. This is extremely racist and I will be filing harassment. With general manager in the morning. I have been here for three nights. And she has had an attitude with me ever since. Rude ,rude ,rude. The day shift was fantastic could not have been better. Cook was the same. The only problem I have had is the night shift black woman being rude, disrespectful, and outright discriminatory.

When I travel to visit my family, TownePlace Suites by Marriott is my home. I love that I can prepare my own meals. Their locations are always very near everything you may need. The front desk service was ok, except for one young lady ( I wish I remembered her name?) every time I saw her she was sure to speak, check in to make sure I was good & went above and beyond to ensure every need was met. Oh! Breakfast was soooo convenient. Housekeeping was great as well. When you call, they will come. Otherwise, they don’t bother you. The pool and jacuzzi were clean, warm & relaxing. Need to get your workout in? They’ve got you covered. Don’t hesitate to take a walk around the grounds. Good music will be playing and the fire pit is the icing on the cake. TownePlace?! See you again soon??

We were only there for 1 day but here are some highlights of my stay. The morning front desk receptionist was nice, she let me choose which floor I wanted to be on and assisted me with a late checkout. The lady that was maintaining the breakfast area was very helpful and nice as well. There were a decent amount of complimentary breakfast food options. The room seemed like it was a great deal, initially. We had a friendsgiving so we chose a room with a full kitchen. The stove was fully equipped with an oven and 4 burners which we needed. The light on top of the stove would not come on unfortunately & not sure why because the exhaust fan did. What we also did not have was an exhaust vent in the bathroom. So when my friends and I were going in and out of the shower back-to-back It was just steamy and we hated that. The front desk said it should have came on with the light, but it didn't. The last annoying thing about the room that I want to mention is the heater. It blew warm air & then cold air, it was inconsistent all night no matter what I set the temperature to so we didnt sleep very well. I would have asked to been relocated to another room if we were staying more than one night. Overall, I would come back to this hotel because the price was nice but I would check that everything in my room is working.

The breakfast cook is AWESOME and very kind. A little mess up with inexperienced staff and a prepaid reservation, and the hot tub was down <we understand happens often> AGAIN. Great stay overall with some improvements to be made for service.

I just want to tell you what an amazing service ,Candace has given me since I have been here. I'm in from out of town on business.. And she has went out of her way every day to ask me . How I'm doing how my day was. She is an extraordinary person. A very personable. & very Bubbly person. You need to keep This one employee . She went out of her way to make me feel at home. goes above & beyond . For all.of her customers. If. I could give her 10 Stars. I would. Thank you. Candice. Add another review for Rose, My husband came to Visit me.She went out of her way to make him feel very comfortable. Everytime we came past her she would ask if we needed anything or if we were going anywhere that she could suggest about places to eat or anything. The service here is outstanding. Thank you Rose.

They overcharged us $170 on our anniversary weekend! So that was a big portion of some spending money would not recommend to any one and me and my husband was very disappointed ☹️ police was called on me for requesting my receipt worst stay ever!

We were meant to stay 6 night because of family in the area but checked out after 1. Staff were very friendly but the pool over-chlorinated, the mattress completely stained (couch pull out bed), no pillows or duvet cover for my kids for the pull-out bed, etc.The thermostat would randomly start heating our room to 80 - 85 degrees in the height of summer. Room was directly on the highway and so loud that if the heat didn’t keep you awake, the noise would…Rooms: Thermostat problems and counters in the new hotel already completely stained. Tried to switch rooms but there wasn’t spaceSafety: Door didn’t close properly and looked as if it had been pried intoFood & drinks: Breakfast staff really friendly… thank you!all disposable (styrofoam, plastic or paper) plates, bowls, knives, etc.

We stayed for 5 nights. The staff at front desk were excellent. Room was great. The kitchenette had everything we needed. Bathroom is large with a great shower. Beds are comfortable. Highly recommend.

Breakfast is terrible. Prepackaged food only. Bacon & sausage is never available. Fruit? Does apples & bananas of count? I think not.I am a frequent member of Marriott and this location has been extremely extremely disappointing. Pre Covid standards have not come

We were put in a room that we weren’t supposed be in and we had to switch. The pool had chlorine and I had a sore throat. When I was sleeping I could hear the floor above us and I really couldn’t sleep.

The staff were friendly and the hotel was clean. Especially at breakfast, grey hair, wearing glasses, she's really nice. Don't miss her. The male employee I met in the elevator was also very kind. However, the swimming pool was too much with chlorine, and there was noise because it was next to the road, and the sound of footsteps upstairs can be heard as it was. Other than that, I recommend this hotel.

We got a king suite, but it's much smaller than we thought. after extended the sofabed, you can't walk from one side to the other anymore. But overall the hotel is nice and new, the little things and services is good, the sound proofing is also good, thick doors and wallsFood & drinks: the breakfast place is neat and nice

This place did not meet my expectations. I was racially profiled and refused service for no reason. Soon as I walked in the door from a 24-hr travel stint, the manager was very rude and unwelcoming. And when I asked why she was acting like that her response was “if you think it’s cause you’re black, it’s not “ ? umm ok, why’d you bring race into it? Cause that’s exactly why she was doing it. Nonetheless if you want to be treated like a decent paying customer, don’t come here.
