“After 4 years and so many vet visits and horrible yeasty ear infections we finally have relief for our Pitty mix. He has so many allergies to traditional dog food. I did have to do a return and tried to complete that online, but the refund never went thru so I’ll have to drive up to the store to get that figured out (but that’s a corporate issue and not the alpine store itself). I really like the online deals.”
“The employees don't seem as knowledgeable as at other pet stores. We bought some fish and one looked a little iffy before we left so we asked about it at the check out and the cashier basically shrugged her shoulders and gave an uncertain explanation for why he looked questionable. Well sure enough the fish died within a week. Thankfully they have a warranty return window for fish so we could replace it for free”

“My pup and I love this place!! We go to Amaura's Paw Spa within the building and we absolutely love her! She's so detailed-oriented and you can tell that she genuinely loves all the animals that visit her! I feel that she charges a reasonable rate for all that she does and how much she actually cares for my dog! We have been a regular customer for nearly 3 years! We are so happy and recommend her to everyone we know!!The building has recently been renovated into several single pet grooming businesses. Damage to a rod requiring warranty service brought me to this Orvis location.
Prior to my arrival I had worked the online preparatory steps for warranty repair. Some how (probably my error) the invoice ended up showing two rods for repair and a potential double charge. I figured I would address this at the store in person.
Jake and his teammate (sorry, didn't get his name) were great from the moment I walked in the door to the shop. They were friendly, listened carefully to my concerns and knew how to get the situation handled. Jake assured me that the transaction would be ok and committed to keeping me in the loop.
Sure enough when I got home, later that afternoon, I had been cc'd on a communication from Jake to the Orvis customer care team. A subsequent communication, the following day, to me from Orvis customer Care put me at ease that the transaction and repair would go smoothly.
Thank you Orvis, and specifically Jake, for seeing that the little things and communication were handled well.

I understand they want to make sure it's a good placement and that I fully understand what I'm getting myself into, but when I said I would take him, the counselor kind of threw up her hands and said "ok! But it's going to be months before you can pet him or do anything with him!" I adopted him anyway and 2 weeks later, he is adjusting nicely...goes for walks, is home trained, sleeps in his kennel...and let's me pet him and give him kisses.”
