Are you kidding me! Rite Aid (who was wonderful...went out of business) and everything was just automatically shifted to Walgreen. I called my script in two days ago on the day it was due for refill, (to Walgreen), they called this morning and said it is ready. I am unable to get out right now, therefore, I sent someone to get it for me. They said, "We don't have it" it was transferred to Lincoln Park but they did not fill it either" I said, "Well, how did that happen?" "Well, you must have done it...that's the only way." "Ahhhhhh, no...try again." First of all I called the Walgreen on Fort and Eureka to have it filled because that is the Walgreen that was on the paper I received in the mail. WHEN I GET A CALL, FROM THEM, that it is ready...in reality it is not ready at either location. I never transferred anything because I did not want my medications getting anymore mixed up than Walgreen already has them. So, I have someone out there trying to chase down my medication that I needed two days ago. Rite Aid filled my scripts right away when they were due. Rite Aid texted me and ask me if I wanted my medication filled when it was due. Rite Aid texted me when they were ready and guess what...they were ready when and where they were supposed to be. I hate Walgreen and will either find another pharmacy or get my prescriptions delivered. I am quite sure, I am not the only one having problems like this with Walgreen and I hope everyone that does, puts up a review and changes to someone else. I changed from Walgreen years ago because of their incompetence and it looks as if they haven't changed a bit. Life is aggravating enough without a corporation that should have itself together always messing up. I do not know if Walgreen put Rite Aid out of business but I hope everyone boycotts them...I really do. ANOTHER HEADS UP...if you have a controlled substance at Rite Aid...it will not be automatically transferred to Walgreen because controlled substances ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE TRANSFERRED BETWEEN PHARMACIES according to Walgreen but when I called it in, they said it would be ready the next day after 11...when I called the next day after 11 of course then I was told controlled substances cannot be transferred between pharmacies and had to call my doctor's office to have a new script sent to them. They lie...pure and simple...they do not want bothered with you so they just lie. Good luck my poor friends if you now have to deal with Walgreen.

Was forced to come here due to Rite Aid on Biddle closing. My regular scripts were transferred to this Walgreens with no notice. I also have Workers Comp scripts at a different pharmacy that's coordinated through my employer which is beyond my control. Since my workers comp pharmacy would often times not have one of my regular scripts of mine in stock, I would use the nearest Rite Aid to fill it without issue. Walgreens refused to fill my scripts due to having workers comp scripts at this other pharmacy of mine (completely different medication). The Walgreens pharmacist stated "Rite Aid may not have cared you had scripts elsewhere, but we're not them, Walgreens is much more strict". Unbelievable. Now I had to look for another pharmacy that carries it and hope my doctor would get the message in order to send in the digital script, all while being completely out. I'm have absolutely no clue how anyone uses this place for filling prescriptions.

Their pharmacy and those they employ are inept. They should be embarrassed and ashamed of themselves. Do NOT switch to this pharmacy. You will regret it.

Best place downriver to drop off your prepaid Fedex packages. No need to drive to a Fedex location.

If you need to speak to an actual human, don't call! The automated system will do literally everything in its power to keep you from actually speaking to a person in the store. Awful and so incredibly frustrating when you just want to ask a question.

I wouldn’t normally leave a review for a Walgreens but after visiting several times and then seeing all these subpar reviews, I feel impelled to say that that each and every employee I’ve met has been very friendly and kind.

Straight up refused to give me the new covid booster because they don't accept state insurance. But if i didn't have insurance they'd give it to me for free.

Was told restroom locked up for security issues so I was not let in to use um when I'm almost peeing myself. Worse Walgreens store ever. No customer service. Plus I'm Mexican and only white workers so that's probably why I wasn't let in. #boicottbigbusiness

One star is an exaggeration, I have not ran into one employee in the pharmacy including the pharmacist that doesn’t walk around with an attitude and god forbid they have to put a little effort into helping if something has a problem, went to get my daughters script and she has a second insurance which now became primary and they would NOT put the information in the system, my secondary wouldn’t pick up till primary was in, then they just wanted me to pay $95.00 when she has 2 insurances. They don’t show that they care at all, this is not my first issue with them but it is most definitely the last. I would never Recommend Walgreens in Wyaandotte to anyone

My first and last time going to this location. Walgreens suck at hiring customer service employees and managers. Horrible service from start to finish. I called CS hotline on them
