If you're looking for a grooming company that is committed to making your pet feel safe and comfortable, this is the place! We've been coming here for a couple years now, and have always been so happy with them. Our dog, Margot, can be anxious at times, and Danielle did an amazing job with her today. She was kind and patient, and I could tell that she took the time to make sure Margot was comfortable.
When we were first looking for a groomer in the area, we scoured the reviews to make sure we found the right one. I figured it's well overdue that we leave our 5 stars. If you're on the fence about picking the right company, look no further.

Took my dog after his groomer has been ill. Since taking him, he is now exhibiting signs that he has been traumatized. He now urinates when we are giving him a bath, brushing him or at the sound of a dryer. He never exhibit such behaviors before visiting The Downriver Grooming Co. I should have known when my dog would shake once there & when the owner said that he tried to bite the groomer. He never has bitten anyone nor have such behavior been reported by the person that had been grooming him for the past 8 years.

Amazing service! Our Gia is a rescue dog that does like strangers or other dogs. The staff went over the top to make her feel comfortable while doing a great a job!

My wife and I have been here twice. The service has been really good. Very friendly and clean environment. Your furry babies will be well taken care of and safe. What a professional job every time. My doggo has the cutest cut! No complaints, no issues. Coming back again soon for our baby's next appointment.

I have taken my pets here for years. My German Shepherd was groomed here once a year, my Persian gets brushed out here occasionally to avoid matting. I have my Aunt taking her dog here now for shave downs. And soon, my new pup will be meeting the wonderful team!

The owner is the rudest person I have ever come across. I am a person who never complains. I cancelled my dogs grooming appointment last week because I work and I could not get home in time for his appointment. I was considerate and called in plenty of time before the day of his appointment. I called today to reschedule. She proceeded to tell me she refuses to take my dog (not his fault) and her hands hurt. Maybe she should retire and not take it out on her paying customers or should not accept further customers. What a disappointment. I will be making sure to tell everyone I know downriver (a lot of people) who go to them…not to support her buisness.
