“My daughter has attended summer camp at the YMCA Boll center for the pass 4 years. Klark Waterman the Youth and Family Director does a phenomenal job! I would higlt recommend thos summer camp!”
“Very interesting place. The event I attended was an art exhibit. Senior artists created a plethora of art in a variety of mediums. The facility as a whole is well thought out with space for activities and personal care assistance. I was informed they offer advocate services, mentorship and community fellowship events. Parking is readily available and easy to access. I really enjoyed the event”
“An Exquisite place that's been with us for over a hundred years. Saw some short plays and a wonderful collection of Broadway Tunes curated by Sean van Schwartz. The evening included a light collection of finger foods from Lily's catering with delicious desserts made by Sue the theater creative director. They will have another great show in April so do yourself a favor and make arrangements to be there!”
“Really nice staff here and amazing finds. I'm from Toronto and I wasn't even looking to buy and I got a good quality Blue Jays for $2 and a RW&CO blazer for $18. I was shocked by the blazer knowing RW's prices. I would suggest popping in, you may be surprised to find something really good.”
“The staff are great and work hard to take care of everyone's needs they really care about the people that they serve. 16121 Reckinger Rd, Dearborn“I was so excited. After years of searching, waiting I finally found the cat I knew would be a great addition to our family. I sent an application right as they opened and I called 45 minutes later. Was told the cat I wanted “Tutu” was still there and that she had didn’t need a hold placed because something along the lines of no one wanting her and her being there for a long time. I’m from Florida so definitely not used to the Michigan traffic and all of the road/lane closures…. I said id be there by 3 but because of what I already mentioned , I arrived 11 minutes late. I thought no big deal “no one wanted her” and surely I’d receive a call if anything happened… nope.. was told she’d been picked up by someone that “just walked in 10 minutes ago.. before my appointment. To say I’m distraught is an understatement. So, thanks for getting my hopes up and then shattering my heart.Update: Called me and apologized for what happened and when they got more of the snowshoe cats in, called and asked if I was still interested (I was/am). Great experience and response! Made a mistake and fixed it. I can't ask for more. Thank you ???❤️ ? ? ”
“Excellent gallery. What better way to support this organization than to head down there and pick up some art created by our local artists. Your empty walls will thank you.”

600 Renaissance Center #1720, Detroit“A wonderful scenic experience to enjoy the downtown of Detroit while getting some exercise. You can also see the Ambassador Bridge to Canada. Bring the whole family PLUS any pet friends.”
“Angie absolutely went above and beyond for me this Mother's day.
While shopping there, we spotted a huge Grinch that was sold out of stores fairly quickly and has been a must have item for me for months now!
It was put away uptop and still wrapped up, waiting to be put on the floor closer to Christmas I'm assuming.
Thank you so much for pulling that item down and selling it to me early.
Like she said.. doesn't hurt to ask!
Most definitely recommend going here. Amazing customer service!!”
“today got my Butte giant bike worked on this place has me shocked and inspired… I’m 23 and have no car they had me in and out the door with my bike! Thanks for the conversations!see you for the open shop!”
“First visit with my 11 week old puppy Boosie for vaccines today and very impressed. Amazing ,warm, and fast customer service from the front door to the exam room. I appreciate the service All About Animals provides to the Detroit community and love the staff puts into their work. Prices are far below in comparison to other places in the city. This organization is focused on dog rescues - I advise leaving a donation as you exit (if you have the means) to further support their great work.”
“Just the right size. Comfortable. If you want them to, they provide food and drinks. You can bring your own food. Parking lot not that big. They also have connections to someone who will decorate the chairs.”
9AM - 9PM
4707 St Antoine #2/200, Detroit“Beautiful atmosphere that's available for families to stay overnight when their children are admitted to the hospital down the street. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Large kitchen where families can prepare food and eat together. Free wifi. Free shuttle service to & from children's hospital. Playroom, gameroom, laundry room & workout room available. You must do your part to help keep the facility safe & clean. Located less than a mile from the hospital.”
“for the price and location, given there is a lack of affordable gyms around, this place is pretty good. Its huge and has a little bit of everything vs a lot of one thing. They have one smith machine and another regular squat rack if you go during the morning there isn't usually a line like there is at other gyms. If you live in downtown and don't have a gym in your apartment building I highly recommend coming here over another place.”
10AM - 9PM
3111 Grand River Ave, Detroit“I was there for drop off and decided to check out the store also. The merchandise was well displayed and a variety of items. The prices were a bit high, in my opinion for gently used merchandise.”
“Great place to get your life back on track. You can use your phone. Get drop offs for snacks, drinks, etc. helpful staff an counselors that do care about your well being. All n all 5 stars ??”
“This is housed in the iconic Senate theater. I was there to participate in a Moth storytelling competition called the Grandslam. I recommend everyone to go to this annual Detroit Moth radio show event. So much fun! People get on stage and share a five minute true story from their life. I can't believe I had the opportunity to do this and how well it went! Listen to the Moth on NPR and you can see videos of storytellers on the Moth YouTube channel and on their website”
“Blown away by this place and its dedicated staff. Their open workshop days let me fix up my aunt's old bike on the cheap - they have all the tools, knowledge, and used parts for nearly any job, seemed like. Affordable, friendly, diverse... they're trying to get people on bikes by any means necessary, giving away so much material and labor... hope it works for them and the city”
8AM - 5PM
26 Peterboro St Suite 100, Detroit“If I ever become homeless I would not go to this place. One of the staff was taken bridge cards from the homeless and those that were working to get back on their feet was told they had to show proof of income and the staff would do a budget plan as well as hold their money claiming it as a holding for their housing. The worst scheming staff members preying on the homeless is working for COTS!”
“The most awesome group of people doing the most fantastic work. The set up/ flow of the center is very holistic to go along with the care/ support provided. Thank you.”
“Freindly, fun, very social. Had a great time, food was fabulous. Had the the old style feeling of the way Wyandotte drinking establishments use to be. Liked it so much I became a member.”
