“This family dollar caught me stealing something for a dollar when I was 16 and had a huge fit and called the cops. Said I was banned for life from this family dollar and every family dollar in the area. Well. I’ve been frequenting family dollar since basically the day after I got caught! muahahahhahahahahahaha. But for real I’m not gonna give you one star for something that happened like 18 years ago but f the manager who was working that day and f the cashier who checked me out who also was the receptionist at Truman. She gave me a dirty look like a few days later when I had to go to the office and call my mom sick. I was probably stoned or drunk.”
“Great team of employees as well as management. Clarence is very helpful, respectful at all times. Also noticed his leadership skills while making sure business is running smoothly on multiple occasions. Sasha has improved things overall in my opinion.”
“So much nicer since the renovation. Staff and cashier's are always on point and friendly. My only complaint is the poles on the buggies that prevent them from leaving the store. If you have a lot of bags or bulky items like paper towel or toilet paper its a bit inconvenient.”

I'm in the every other day she knows what I need and will always keep me informed of sales etc. She put her notice in because they worked her 3 double days in a week and can't get anyone that wants to work. Great store. Conveniently located two blocks from house. Low prices too! Highly recommend this one, the Southgate store, and the one in Flat Rock.”
