I came to the Wixom location after a bad experience at the Commerce Twshp office. Marques and his team was AMAZING and so understanding of my request. They matched my wood sample perfectly with a custom stain and called me to check in and update on the process. Every single person I encountered was friendly and more than willing to go above-and-beyond to help me.I will be recommending everyone I know looking for a stain to visit Marques!

I stopped in yesterday to get supplies for staining my deck. I was helped by Marques who was super friendly and knowledgable. He set me up with stain, taught me about the process, and helped me select the supplies I needed. Really awesome customer service from Marques!

Whether good or not really depends on who is the one that's helping customer. Tried to match the paint couple of times here. First time didn't match well, came back to adjust, a guy helped to adjust it. But It was still slightly off. So came back another time, this time a lady seemed not interested in doing free and challenging work so she called her boss. I showed them the picture of not so good matching paint on the wall. They were like "oh I can barely tell", "that's just new paint". The boss was not helpful at all and impatient, with some attitude. Eventually they did nothing this time. Just telling me it's what it is, it's your technical issue, our matching is perfect. BS. The 2nd star is for that guy who helped.

This was by far the worst experience ever. The new employee had no idea what she was doing. Poor training. Not her fault. 30 plus minutes for my paint on a Saturday. The Manager on duty was completely not helpful until the Associate dumped my paint on the floor in front of the mixing machine. I only ordered 2 gal of Wordly Gray and 3 gal Custom Match. I spend $25k per year in this with Sherwin. Your always short staffed in all stores honestly. Unacceptable in my opinion. Please train Associate or she will quit. Throwing her in front customers in not gonna work. She deserves better hands on training with showing her how to do it repeatedly.
