Great place to stay! My favourite was the breakfast buffet. Elkham was so kind and helpful! Would definitely come back if I'm in the area again.Rooms: Very spacious and comfortable.Food & drinks: Food and drinks were great.

Room cleaned every day (In contrast to many that are not doing this due to help shortages) typical breakfast fare. Room was clean and quiet. A good value.Update: noisy on the first floor, noise above noise outside the room and road noise.

Overall this hotel was fairly quiet. I was there during New Years Eve and that was the only time it was louder but it quieted down again after midnight. I like that this hotel has a pool and a hot tub. Both were working and pretty clean. Had them to myself one day. Room was clean, some dirty corners in the bathroom etc but nothing major. Water pressure in the shower could have been better and I felt the room could use more than 1 tiny garbage can. The lady working the Continental breakfast was so friendly and the guy that checked me in too!! The fire alarm did go off on my first evening there which I had heard they were having some issues with something triggering it so I was worried it was going to happen again but it only happened the one time. Mini fridge and microwave in room worked great. Would definitely stay here again.

My stay went great except for the main reason I booked a room in the first place. Took my kids here to go swimming but the pool had so so much chlorine in it that we couldn't even stay in there because our eyes and noses were burning Complete waste of money!!!. I did want to say the lady that does the breakfast is awesome and so nice.

We recently stayed here after moving to the area. We had an amazing experience. The room was always clean with freshly made beds and new towels when we came back to our "home away from home". Breakfast was always delicious, compliments to Elham for always saying Good morning and asking how we were.

The rooms and lobby were clean. It is located close to the freeway and restaurants and shops.Rooms: The rooms were spacious, clean and well stocked.Nearby activities: It is close to some shops and restaurants.Safety: Having high and low exit signs is a great safety feature.

Love this place, we stay here when we come to town, we come often. Although the pool is very COLD anytime of the year and i cant get in and enjoy it like other hotels. I must say Elham serves a great breakfast and is right there when you need her help for anything. She's a great woman!! Serving my family proud for many years. Love to see her face in the morning greetings us like family. Please make it warm for the customers , you have the money.

We came all the way from Pennsylvania as a family on a buisness trip. We stayed here because we've always had good experiences with holiday inns in the past. However, because of truck problems we got here later than we anticipated and were not able to use the pool in the evening. In the morning we had breakfast and then wanted to use the pool, and the lady went on and on about how they shock the pool on Sundays and then Monday morning have to get the levels back up. So no pool or hot tub for us, which is literally what we came for. While my husband went and did his buisness (which was about 3 minutes away) my children and I went downstairs to go to the gym instead because they were going crazy with nothing to do in the room. The same lady who fussed about the pool told me I am not allowed to take my children into the gym because "It's too dangerous for them" and then rode with us in the elevator to go back to our room. My boys play with workout equipment at home daily, shouldn't I be the judge of what is "safe for my family" seeing as I know this key information and you don't? 12 hrs of driving for no pool and no gym. My husband was upset that I didn't stand up for myself so here i am, doing that. My children left here disappointed and crying. We will stay in your front yard at your completion next time we are in the area.

Comfy beds and great amenities. We were here for a wedding. Deborah was so helpful at breakfast, she even brought be an egg white omelette because I was allergic to cheese. Thanks for going above and beyond for the delicious meal ❤️?❤️?

The hotel itself is not bad. Like other reviews say it is kind of dated, but overall not bad. The main problem is the noise. You hear everything. Doors shutting, cars, people walking in the hallway, and the worst for me was the noise from the room above me. It started on my 3rd night when someone started to stay in the room above me. I had to call the front desk around 1230 in the morning due to the stomping, and what sounded like jumping on the bed and floor. My whole room was shaking. This continued for the rest of my stay. I got very little sleep due to all the noise for the rest of my stay. If I had to stay here again I would ask for a top floor room, or avoid this hotel all together.

Very nice hotel and polite staff. Rooms are always clean and price for overnight stay is fair. Provides a pool area with a wonderful hot tub. Mornings start in a well-sorted breakfast area, where Elham works, who always welcomes you with a smile and makes everything possible so you can have the perfect start into your day.

Our group of 10 stayed here while attending the Battery Show. We also used their meeting room for 3 days. I cannot say enough about the hotel and their staff. First of all the hotel is very clean and updated. My room was spacious, clean and had everything I needed. They cleaned my room everyday and had the best complimentary breakfast. The meeting room was always stocked with everything we needed and all requests were met and exceeded my expectation. The chef, Elham is wonderful and does a great job with the buffet; everything is always fresh and delicious. The front desk...let's start with Miranda. She was my contact for everything. She managed my numerous requests in a very timely manner. She is extremely professional, always with a smile and great attitude. Phyllis, the hotel manager was extremely helpful as well, as was Megan and Steve - again so helpful and a great attitude. I give everyone at the front desk 5 stars for their professionalism and willingness to help with my every request. When you are traveling for business, things always come up and I felt such relief that if I needed something, they would help me. I highly recommend Holiday Inn Express Wixom, whether you are traveling for business or pleasure. You will not be disappointed.

Hotel is simple and clean. Staff was very nice and friendly. At check-in we were assigned to a room on the first floor, weren't pleased about that so we asked for a higher floor level. Manager was understanding and accomodated us to a room on the 3rd floor. Breakfast was good, love the coffee. We met kitchen staff lady named Elham who was very polite and friendly and very attentive to guest's needs. We're so happy with this hotel's friendly staff we're definitely coming back next year.
