Receptionist was extremely rude. I called to see if taxes were done as I was never notified. She immediately started off with I owe them money, then complained saying I call too much even though I haven’t called this firm in over a month. I asked to speak to someone else and she just gave me the number to my tax specialist that quit. I cannot believe they let this receptionist talk down to their clients. For sure having my entire family go somewhere else.

Been going here for 6 years now. Last year, Greg the owner decided not to return calls when o followed up to get the status of my family return. Finally, two months later after meeting and giving him all the required documents he filed. 2016. By far the most exhausting and terrible situation I have ever been involved in. Met late January with all documents necessary. Gave him a check everything. 6.2.16 still not filed and myself nor my wife can reach him. 10 emails, 10 frustrated voicemails to his office and he is "out of the office" every time I attempt to reach him. His receptionist is extremely rude, inconsiderate and mocks the attempts to reach her boss to you over the phone. What a mess. I am at a loss for words but still have not received my refund!!!!! Stay away. Stay far far away. Maybe they closed up shop, he is in the hospital or possibly just doesn't give a sh$& about any individual clients just business clients. Wow. I'm exhausted.

First time using Averill for 2015 tax year to handle my mother-in-laws taxes. Paul's expertise helped us navigate through the complexities of rental property, real-estate transaction, stocks, and IRA distributions. Prior to this I was spending top dollar for Turbo Premium and countless hours. The most frustrating part was that I had no idea how to make judgement calls because I am not an accountant! I am so glad we turned to Paul and the Averill team this year. The peace of mind reclaimed personal time was well worth the reasonable fee.
