Every time I have entered J&B Boots' store I've been warmly welcomed. Each person working there has always spent as much time as needed in order to help me find the footwear I am seeking, for each needed purpose. They go above & beyond to be sure the fit is good, continuing to suggest other footwear or a better size until you find the comfortable footwear that you need . Not in a pushy way, just in a friendly, helpful way. Sharon has always been especially patient & helpful. Because I greatly appreciate the friendly treatment, I will always check at J&B Boots, before I even consider buying shoes or boots anywhere else. Terry

Have always wanted to stop in. Finally stopped in after driving by. Thanks to q106 and hanging out. While there checked out there boots shoes selection and wow they have lots to choose from. Plus socks and sole inserts and clothing. Plus the staff is all friendly and will help you find the right boots or shoes for you.

They don't repair boots like their website says, they ship them to some other store to have them fixed, kinda misleading when it says they repair & build boots right on line.

Very poor customer service. I purchased a pair of Danner boots. Paid over $200.00. Wore them twice over 7 days. Realized they are too wide for my foot. Went back to exchange them and were told they won't because the soles had dirt on them from being worn outside. I wore the boots inside and walked on my deck a couple times. Dirt is minimal at worst. If I purchased directly from Danner I get 30 days no questions asked. But I want to support local business.I wasn't looking for my money back just a fair exchange. I'd even pay more for the right boot. Their store policy isn't easily to find nor specific. Very disappointed as I've purchased boots here before. I won't any longer. The boots are in new condition. I wish I could attach pictures. Again choosing to support local business wasn't a good choice I guess. I'll just order from Danner directly from now on, unfortunately.Just an update...Met with Steve and he was more than helpful to rectify my issue. Very cordial and went out of his way to find me a pair of boots that fit correctly. Unfortunately I'll have to wait a little longer for a few pairs to come in. But the experience was great. I appreciate the understanding and help. Looking forward when order to comes in.

Regret to say that i drove all the way from dundee, mi to buy thorogoods steel toes. A year ago i bought boots here that they had on the shelf,no problem. Now, their inventory is less, i walked in, no common size 11 or 12 boot size in stock. Young lady said she could order for me or i could go to a saginaw branch to get them....why drive more??? Cant sell what you dont have on the shelf. It was a good store, i did like it a year ago, this is why i went back.

Sue did an excellent job selling me the boots I asked for. She even added the treatment chemical for the boots in store. I also got a pair of socks & shirt. Plus a union worker discount! I'll be back

This place advertises itself as, "Michigan's Home For American Made Boots", when in reality most of their boots are imports. They don't have a very large inventory of American made...plenty of stores offer a better selection. Drove 70 minutes for nothing

Just bought a pair of boots from an amazing young woman Emma and I just found out she passed away in a car accident over the holiday. She told me and my wife she was going to be traveling over the holidays… pitiful…she touched our life just by selling us a pair of boots….wow….unbelievable….
