This place will turn you away if you arrive near closing time, but during business hours, even if you call ahead and let them know to expect you. Even if you unload it all yourself quickly and drive a far distance to bring it to them. They will tell you to come a different time, plan accordingly.

The staff here is very rude. Especially the lady that is there most often. She acts annoyed about taking donations of any kind and makes sure you know exactly what you are doing wrong when bringing in items. For example placing a box a few inches from where she would like it. This has happened multiple times. I think it's time to drop at VOA.

It's hit and miss if you will get help unloading. So far we have donated 3 trucks worth of stuff only one time did one of the workers bring out and take in tubs for us. But we are still happy to bring things in for them.

They require you to wash and bleach items to be donated within 24 hours of donation. I am not sure if this is the safest way to protect employees from Covid-19. What happens if someone who unknowingly has Covid-19 washed and bleached the items to be donated and then coughed on it. It could be potentially contaminated. Perhaps having donors bag or box the item without the bleach step 24-48 hours before donating would be a better solution. This would allow time for the virus to become less virulent.

They actually want you to handle everything before you bring it. Has to be washed within 12 hours. I am looking for somewere else to donate.

I dropped off my stuff. I gave me my receipt. There is not really much else to tell. This is only a drop off center.
