About VASA Cross Country Ski
VASA Cross Country Ski is an amazing trail system for hiking, biking, and skiing, considered one of the best features of Grand Traverse. The trails are nicely groomed and well marked, with tracks for traditional skiing and room for skate skiing through beautiful woods. There is a nice heated lodge with clean, heated bathrooms and a changing area. The facility also includes a bike workstation and the VASA bike park with jump lines. Parking is gravel. Visitors note the trails are for skiing and request that dogs not be walked on the groomed trails in winter.

The VASA is an amazing trail for hiking, biking, and skiing. This is truly one of the best features of Grand Traverse.
Parking: The parking where I pulled in was gravel with some washed-out spots to avoid. Bonus, there were bathrooms!

We came for some cross country skiing. The trails were groomed and well marked. They had 2 tracks for traditional skiing and room for skate skiing. The woods are beautiful. The trails go a bit up and down. They have several loops, including a 25k one.

Nicely groomed trail with great maintenance and friendly people, there's also a nice heated lodge with clean restrooms and a bike workstation. The vasa bike park is also at the beginning of the trail with a few different jump lines and berms. If you like jumping your bike and live near traverse city I recommend you check...
