The VASA is an amazing trail for hiking, biking, and skiing. This is truly one of the best features of Grand Traverse.Parking: The parking where I pulled in was gravel with some washed-out spots to avoid. Bonus, there were bathrooms!

We came for some cross country skiing. The trails were groomed and well marked. They had 2 tracks for traditional skiing and room for skate skiing. The woods are beautiful. The trails go a bit up and down. They have several loops, including a 25k one.

Nicely groomed trail with great maintenance and friendly people, there's also a nice heated lodge with clean restrooms and a bike workstation. The vasa bike park is also at the beginning of the trail with a few different jump lines and berms.
