My first time ever visiting for the food pantry and the staff were very rude. I have little kids 2 and 5 and they will NOT let you in the building, they told me to go wait in my car with my kids and shut the door on me. Do people forget what it is like to have little kids? It would be nice if there was a play area for the kids why you're waiting your turn instead of being kicked out. Where is people's hospitality these days or a little understanding. Be humble and kind people my Lord.

A well run store with merchandise nicely organized within a slightly cramped area, full a great bargains. I've purchased menswear, appliances, books, and a variety of other things over the years. Keeping on high volume of donations moving in and out of the store means customers get a great deal, with special sales throughout the year. The pantry provides many essential food items to a huge number of local families. Highly recommended for your donations and shopping!

Very rude crazy you have an appointment doesn't say on web that so what if you need food only privatized people get food cause you can only do one person at a time if this is Christianity I don't want it

Prices are so much better than many Second Hand Stores. Love shopping here. Sign up for Email and they will inform you of upcoming sales and specials. Great service too.

Staff are always nice, clean store, clean restrooms. Kids can pick out one free book.Only reason 4 stars and not 5, are the prices. They seem reasonable on some things, and other things the prices are ridiculous.

This thrift store used to be great but it’s really gone downhill and OUT OF CONTROL. Check out this moldy, heavily used stroller that they want $125 for. Absolutely ridiculous. I thought it was some kind of joke.Anyway, they have crazy prices on all sort of stuff (bike for $375 that sells for $75 on FB marketplace) that they get for free. I understand that’s the trend for thrift stores these days, but it’s still disappointing.You can do better, Acme Christian. I’m disappointed with you.

This is a nicely maintained thrift store, with a wide variety of items to browse and explore. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We were particularly pleased with the selection of books from which to choose. And, at 4 for a $1 (all books, both hardback & paperback), we left with a couple of unexpected boxes accompanying us for the rest of our trip.

This is my favorite thrift store! Everyone is friendly & helpful. Their prices are very low & reasonable. Very clean & items are nicely displayed. I found many nice treasures today. 12-2-2022.

TLDR: Flawless gem of a store!This review is 4 years old now, and still as true as day 1! This is a FANTASTIC store that does FANTASTIC work for the community.Their shop provides reasonably priced essentials (clothing, shoes, mittens, etc) for people who need them. For the discerning customer, they have a few higher end items with higher prices, this helps pay for their community programs. O BOY do they offer wonderful programs. They offer food and help to those in need. And the people working here are absolutely wonderful! Truely one of the good thrift shops in Northern Michigan!
