My husbands car broke down right outside of Lakeview around 630pm on July 3rd and Dave came out and helped us try to jump it and when that didn't work he helped us push it back a few feet to his parking lot. He fixed it and we had it home by today the 5th! I have no doubt it would have been the 4th if it hadn't been the holiday! We will definitely be going back with all of our car troubles in the future! Thanks Dave!

Internal engine repair on jeep wrangler. Rockers and lifters. Polished the cam (rather than sell me a new one). Most economical, honest and expert mechanic. Everyone needs a good doctor, a good lawyer and a good mechanic. Dave is that. I've been going here for years since it opened. He always told me when I didn't need something someone else would try to sell me. He's worked on my jeep Cherokee and Nissan pathfinder in the past as well. Earlier today while while heading along M-59 I blew my tire out on a pot hole probably 100 yards from this auto shop. I limped the car along to find the first place to pull into which luckily happened to be this auto shop. The man who I assume to be the owner immediately came out, saw what was up, and started putting my spare tire on for me. Whole process from breaking down to him getting me back on the road took about 15 minutes. He wouldn’t accept any payment, just gave me a hug and sent me on my way. Best experience hitting a pothole ever!

The reviews for this place could not be more accurate! Dave is a really nice personable guy. I had him do a used car inspection for me on a vehicle I was thinking of buying (and did buy). Dave took the car for a test drive with me, took his time looking over previous codes thrown and checking everything out physically as well. He gave me honest opinions and in the end 2 thumbs up. I have had 2 other inspections within the past 6 months with other good and nice mechanics but I have to say Dave was my favorite and I felt he took more time and went over the car much better than the other guys. I highly recommend his shop and would go there again!

Dave has been the mechanic of choice for my family for years, no matter the make or model. Honest, fair, thorough and no BS. If it doesn't need fixing he won't fix it. I trust him completely with keeping my vehicles and family safe, I would recommend him without hesitation!

I have been taking my vehicles to Lakeview automotive for 14 years. Dave has excellent customer service and is a truly honest mechanic. (hard to find these days)A master at diagnosis and the work is nothing shy of top tier.I have 100% satisfaction over numerous visits and quite a few vehicles. The only place I confidently refer my friends and family! If you want a job done AND DONE THE RIGHT WAY! LOOK NO FURTHER.
