We have always had great customer service with this company. They are polite on the phone and quick to fill our tank. Highly recommend for propane needs in our area.

I've been getting my propane from Sunrise for at least 12 years. They have always been professional and courteous. I would recommend them to anyone. They have always been there to help anyway they could.

Nov 14...I had a small upright tank that holds one hundred pounds installed at my property, not filled at that point it was brought to me full....$300. The gauge was all the way at the top... above 90 percent. I noticed a week later that the gauge wasnt moving. I called at that point. I was assured that it was fine. I called 7 more times about the gauge not working over the next several weeks. At one point... I was told to hit the tank with a large piece of wood.....WHAT??? On January 4th.. I checked again...the gauge read 90 percent. But now the tank moved on me. It was almost empty. They hurried that night to bring me more fuel...this was a Friday night. They said they put 45 percent in. They left me a bill for 105 dollars. On Wednesday they brought a new tank with 25percent in it. Just a few days later and I heat with pellet stove primarily. Once we knocked the old tank over it then started to work. I have no clue what was in it. They came and filled the new tank the next morning and left a bill for 167. I went in to pay the 167. Not the 104. Donna told me I owed 275. What???...the math doesn't even work out. Donna is the one who also told me I'd be fine on several occassions...AnD shes the one who told me to hit the top of the tank with a chunk of wood. Cmon.. tank was removed today. You took my old tank...I have no clue what was used. I'd look somewhere else for propane. Price gouging and they want their customers to bang on the tank with a piece of wood.

I strongly recommend that you shop around for your propane before settling for Sunrise. It's sad I had to change my review over a $10.00 discrepancy. My previous review is below 👇. If you do use this place be sure not to pay for your gas before the fill. They claim you get a 10 cent per gallon discount but when they don't fit all the fuel you paid for into your tank you can kiss that discount goodbye. Shorted my fill 25 gallons. Gas goes up 40 cents a gallon. So instead of giving me 25 gallons I had paid for from 3 months ago. They only credited $27.25 and made me pay an additional $10.00 for the same 25 gallons of propane I had previously paid for. 10 bucks is worth a bad review? Absolutely. I'm unemployed for the winter. They held my 25 gallons of propane for the last 3 months selling it over and over and over again then back to me for 10 bucks more.

While I understand that winter means packed business for gas providers, the lack of service and communication from this place is terrible. We called on November 28th to make an appointment and December 13th was the earliest available spot which was not a problem because it gave us extra time to prepare before the technician arrives. Did anyone from Sunrise show up for the appointment? NO. Did they even bother calling us to reschedule the appointment they missed? NO. If I can give this business a negative star, I would do that in a heartbeat. UPDATE: It is now December 21st and there had been no contact from them at all. What is the point of making a customer go through all the trouble of waiting for their appointment date if you are just going to forget about them entirely? Luckily we ended up finding another local gas company that came out for HALF the price of what Sunrise wanted to charge for the same service. What an unbelievable waste of time and money.
