I recently took my Roush Stage 3 Mustang to Westland Precision Transmission and was very satisfied with my experience at this shop. From the moment I walked in, the manager Brian was very attentive and welcoming. He took the time to explain the issues with my vehicle and answer any and all questions.
The shop proved to be very knowledgeable and professional, diagnosing the problem quickly and providing a fair estimate. They kept me updated throughout the repair process, and kept me in the loop concerning what was happening at every step.
The quality of work was top notch my car runs smoother than ever. Plus, the pricing was transparent with no hidden fees.
I would highly recommend Westland Precision Transmission to anyone in need of transmission services. Their commitment to quality work truly sets them apart. I’ll definitely be returning for any future needs.

The best Brian helped me and my fiancée when we had transmission issues on our 2016 GMC Acadia. Lafontaine Chevrolet of Dexter Mi sold us the GMC as is, luckily we had a warranty or we would be SOL on 12k. He had lots of information on what was wrong with it, and how we should go about getting it fixed. THANK YOU 🙏

It's hard to give an accurate rating here because the owner is real stand up guy. But the price on repairs is expensive

Called and asked for a estimate on a 1995 f150 transmission that was no good and they shot me a fair price. So I took it up to there shop same day. They helped me load it out my car and I was out quick. Got a call from bryan for final price and ready date which was less than 2grand and done in less than a few days. Even after I said no rush. Bryan was the man and helped me all the way. Appreciate the service and happy to have my truck back on the road running like a champ! Thank you guys again!

Thank God for Westland Precision Transmission Mechanic Shop. I am a Marine Corps Veteran. I brought my van in a couple of days ago when my "Check Engine" light came on. I instantly took my van to Westland Transmission. I had been referred by another great mechanic by the name of Jimmy from Polk's Auto. Instantly, I began thinking the worst about my van in terms of finding out what was wrong. After a couple of days, Brian from Westland Transmission called me, and he informed me that nothing was wrong with my vehicle. He test drove it, hooked it up to his code reader, and did all of the proper checks to ensure that my van was fine. He further explained that; sometimes, the weather can cause the sensors to go off being that these modern vehicles are very dialed in. Of course, I was relieved. Brian is very honest, professional, and outgoing. He could have been like your typical mechanic, but he chose to be honest instead. Their aren't too many honest mechanics out there. I'm proud to say that I know two honest mechanics, and they both know each other: Jim Polk (Polk's Auto) and Brian/His Team (Westland Precision Transmission). If you want honest, quality service, this is where you want to go. Great people, Great Service, Great Prices. Thanks, Brian & The Entire Westland Precision Transmission Family.

This shop came recommended from my usual garage. Had a clutch replaced on a car. They offered a fair price based on cost estimates for a similar job found online. I had a concern with the car after I got it back but they took care of it. The owner/manager and employee that I interacted with were both polite and professional and answered all my questions. Would recommend.

It's long overdue, but these guys are awesome! They were able to get my clutch assembly replaced very quickly for a very reasonable price. Plus, they were able to take care of other issues my vehicle had while covering the initial problem. Overall, amazing customer service, great professionalism, and awesome work they performed. Would recommend to anyone

The guy at the front desk (not the owner) was over the top rude, and abrupt. Told me that if anyone questions the price, wants to discuss the decision with wife etc. They are placed at the back of the line. This guy's attitude caused me to back off and go somewhere else. Based on his attitude at the beginning, there is no way this could have been a positive transaction.

Car went in on Wednesday with a leaky transmission, car was done on Friday, no more leaky transmission. Awesome prices and friendly people, I will continue to do business with WPT.

I needed a transmission replaced and although I had my usual repair place do the job, the gentleman I spoke to was very friendly and spent a good amount of time on the phone explaining to me everything about my trans and why these types are going bad, couldn't be rebuilt and would have to be replaced. He was right!
