The lady I worked with at this shop was just fantastic. She made an incredible custom arrangement of mother's day flowers that is still blooming after a week! Before the delivery, she called me to get final thoughts on the custom arrangement. Who does this? People who care, that's who. I don't live near Westland, but if I did, I'd stop by this store and give this lady a hug for being so talented and kind. Thank you!

This is the second time ordering a floral arrangements from Westland Florist. Now I'm done.
The staff IS very nice, & arrangements the looked super when I picked them up. However...
-The 1st one wilted within 24 hours: the florist mitigated the problem promptly, which gave it a couple more days.
-The 2nd arrangement started to wilt within 48 hours. I didn't reach out this time, because, why?
-Despite attention to water, room temperature, whatever they're using in the arrangements doesn't keep flowers fresh -- or they make arrangements too early for pick up.
All I know is that when you purchase an arrangement, it ought to last beyond 3 days.
If the flowers were going to a funeral or convalescent, it would be embarrassing. I'm going elsewhere for floral needs. Sorry. You had your chance.

Was disappointed with my experience. Saw this place all the time growing up in the area, so I assumed it would be a quality experience. Went to this place looking for pet friendly flowers. Was told by the person working that "all plants are pet friendly". I'm not an expert on anything besides Spider-man, but I know that is absolutely not true. I understand and respect is someone's anecdotal experience makes them think they know better than others, but spare me if I sort of think the death of a pet isn't something you just shrug off.

So my wife is on a business trip, the first of many and I wanted to do something special. So I found a flower shop and placed an order. They had 3 options, standard, deluxe and premium. each one costed more than the other. I went for the Premium and got a standard with maybe some deluxe mixed. But looks nothing like the picture. They used different flowers and tried to fill in the gaps with greenery. I feel robbed and my wife felt I was being cheap. She didn't say it but I could feel her not being impressed. So thank you soo much Westland florists. You definitely made me look like a chump. This is way I don't send flowers much because it's always a sham. BTW it costed $136.12. Bad value!

I just wanted to take a moment and highlight Eileen’s wonderful costumer service. I was ordering flowers for a friend’s birthday and she was incredibly helpful and offered great expertise. I would 100% recommend anyone to come here for their floral needs!

AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. If I could leave a lower star rating I would. I spoke with Eileen Tuesday about ordering flowers for a coworkers mother’s funeral service. I asked for them to be delivered the day before (Wednesday) by 4pm. I was told it would be done. After payment I confirmed again the delivery would be done by 4pm the next day. She said yes. That never happened. I called to see what was going on worried and Eileen made me feel like I was stupid for being upset. Eileen took it upon herself to have the flowers delivered the day of the funeral, even though I requested multiple times for them to be delivered there the day before. I was not contacted in anyway about the change. I called back to request a refund for the delivery as it was not delivered when I requested. She was curt on the phone and finally, reluctantly, gave me my refund right before hanging up on me. I was shocked at such behavior and went to the florist in person my lunch. Eileen continued to explain what she did and why she did what she did. She said she did not hang up on me but she did. Eileen would not acknowledge why I was upset. I explained how communication with the customer about changes with delivery or delivery suggestions based on experience are important and should be communicated professionally and politely. Being rude and doing what you want because it’s more convenient is not the way to do business. I was the crazy one for communicating my frustration as a customer. I asked to speak to her boss. She refused to give me his name or information. Eileen refused to take responsibility or apologize for her behavior. Only after I insisted on an apology did she apologize. Please be careful if you choose to use this florist. I don’t want the same thing that happened to me to happen to you.

They were very helpful at Westland Florist. We go there every November to get a wreath for our Sons grave. At least for the past 20 years. They have a good selection. Good prices.

I requested a flower arrangement and let them know I had cats and not to include any plants toxic to cats. Half the flowers were Lillys, which are toxic to cats. The arrangement was beautiful but I wish they would have listened to my request.

I have used Westland Florist for decades and always so pleased with their beautiful arrangements. Most recently, they helped me through one of the most difficult times, the passing of my Dad. They made a very special arrangement for him from his baby girl. And while I live in Florida, I'm thankful for the tried and true dedication of the folks at Westland Florist. I visit Michigan often amd will always use Westland Florist.
