Speedway, a popular convenience store chain, has experienced significant changes over the years. Previously, it was a favorite stop for many due to its good items, friendly staff, and reasonable prices on snacks, beverages, and hot foods like hot dogs and burgers. Customers appreciated the selection and the helpful service, often stopping for quick drinks or snacks. However, since the brand was purchased by 7-Eleven, many have noted a decline in quality and service. Hot dogs and food offerings have become smaller and less appealing, with some customers feeling that the food is a waste of time now. Prices are considered high, and the food selections are often underwhelming, leading to a loss of loyalty. Service quality varies; most cashiers are friendly, but some can be unfriendly or have attitudes. A common complaint involves the store's difficulty handling large bills, such as $50 or $100, with staff sometimes refusing to accept or provide change, which frustrates customers and seems poorly managed. Inside, the store is generally clean but sometimes lacks essential items like windshield washer fluid, which can be disappointing. Customers also report issues with receipt printing at the pumps, sometimes used as a tactic to encourage inside purchases. Despite these issues, Speedway remains a convenient place for gas and quick snacks. Staff members, like Mya, are often praised for their professionalism and helpfulness in difficult situations. Overall, Speedway is seen as a place that used to provide better service and offerings, but recent changes have affected customer loyalty and satisfaction.
I don't know what it is about Speedways, but no matter which one it is, there is a 90% chance I will have to go inside for the receipt. At least the cashier was nice.

It is always good. I like their shakes. I was. Disappointed that they didn't have Oreo shakes. I love them. I got chocolate. It was ok. I buy the Newspaper there. Too.
