My car broke down in the middle of ford rd on my way to get dinner with family from out of state. Louie, the owner, tried jumping my car for a while to no avail. While taking up space by his pumps, he let me leave my car and DROVE ME AND MY MOTHER TO THE RESTAURANT to meet my family. The customer service is the upmost top notch. He is an absolute angel and really helped me out, offering restrooms, water, even his car to take home. Literally the best gas station I have ever been to. Thank you, Louie. You are a gift.

Louie was the Absolute best. Broke down and had the most fortunate experience with the Owner/Louie and Tony. Helping is second nature for this caring and generous man.

Great place decent prices but they charge you 25 cents for a straw. I have never seen anyone do it but other eise its not a bad place to stop at.

Today is 7/24/2020 and my husband and I are giving this Shell gas station on the northeast corner of Wayne Rd. and Cowan Rd. in Westland, Michigan a terrible review as the young male clerk with a beard was extremely rude to us around 6:00 pm. The clerk was wearing a mask around his chin (also worn this way inside the gas station) and for the time ever the clerk came out to the pump with my husband as he obviously didn't trust my husband to pay for the gas, which was unusual. This used to be a Sunoco station for many years and we have gotten gasoline on a routine basis for decades and never had a problem with the previous owners and clerks, who were always polite and kind to us. I asked my husband to stand away from the clerk as the clerk had his mask down and the clerk actually said "F- - - You" to me. I then said, "Well, you are standing right next to my husband without a mask on." The clerk stated that he didn't have to wear one outdoors and then said "Well, I work here. Kiss my A*** to me. He then demanded that my husband pay with a credit card but we don't trust the credit card readers on the pumps so my husband gave cash to the disgruntled clerk. Rest assured, even though we live in the neighborhood behind this gas station we will not be back and we will let as many neighbors as possible know about the new way business is being handled at the Shell gas station on the northeast corner of Wayne Road and Cowan Road in Westland, Michigan.

Good food for a quick bite to eat and a huge selection of drinks and snacks. Gas is a bit high but the staff are super friendly.
