I've donated twice to this worthy organization. It is very easy just a few clicks and it done. Plus they send a reminder email.

Great donation place to drop off your gently used items. They no longer have their trucks out after hours due to vandalism in the area. Still it is easy to drop off or have them come out to you and the proceeds go to a great cause.

I have used Purple Heart Foundation several times, and never had an issue. Always came and picked up items everytime. Best service ever and convenient ( pick ip donations straight from home).

Always there during the hours they have posted, and super helpful unloading and making sure you have access to a receipt! I drive from Brighton and prefer this to the salvation army any day! Love my vets

I had a wonderful experience dropping off my bags of clothes. Two of the men helped get all 5 bags out of my trunk and were very polite and kind. I will definitely be coming back here and not going to the Salvation Army to drop off donations.

They did not pick up my full donation. I saw NOTHING specifying a limit of items, just weight for larger ones. I needed these items to be taken away so they could be put to good use!!! I can not keep calling to arrange pickups every week for them to just take a small portion. I couldn't even put everything out because it was too much for me and it was a struggle lugging the items back in my house. My suggestion is to call another charity that clearly specifies donation limits. Now I have to figure out what to do with all these items that are taking up space, because I have ABSOLUTELY NO MEANS of dropping them off anywhere!!!!

When backing out of my driveway, the driver wiped out an entire branch of a tree that lines the driveway. He saw me in the window (I heard the crack) and kept right on going!! No apology, nothing! I have used these people for years but will find someone else now. Excuse me while I go move the branch and get out my saw…..

Didn't want to give one star, but in order to leave a review I had to give it at least one. Two things: #1 - No pickups in Detroit? That is absolutely asinine and down right discriminatory. #2 - not having all of the pertinent information on your website as to picking up donations from apartment buildings is not cool. You should provide that information just in case a poor soul like me who lives in an apartment building - 3rd floor would be PROPERLY informed about you having a policy to not go up the stairs of an apartment building to retrieve donations. Put the information on your website so people can have all of the information needed before we decide to donate to you. However, since I've checked for myself you do not pick up donations in Detroit, I will not use your service nor recommend.
