After the last couple grocery trips I am completely done with Meijer’s. The cashiers are just rushing through checkouts throwing all your items. The produce were smooshed and other items were damaged. The greed from these chains are already astronomical we don’t need you guys destroying our groceries before we can even bring them home. This is why people steal!!!

The lights in the produce area give me migraines. Regardless, still my preferred grocery store.
Well-lit, clean, decent selections, decent quality store brand products, friendly and compassionate cashiers. Seems like they're getting rid of Meijer brand products in favor of more expensive alternatives, which is disappointing.

The cashier at the self scan would not look up an item that had a missing bar code so I could scan it. She asked if I wanted the item, and said I would have to go find one with a bar code myself.

Experienced exceptional customer service from start to finish, beginning with a warm greeting. As a loyal customer at Meijer, it was refreshing to receive the same level of service I provide to my own residents and beyond. Courtney Hardy was a pleasure to work with, answering all my questions and offering helpful suggestions to complement my purchases. She truly embodied the definition of customer service.
