I know that prices are a lot higher here than other stores, but I end up here, maybe once a week because they are open until midnight. I end up spending more, also because they have you going throughout the store for different products. That being said, I want to acknowledge my cashier, Sierra, and another woman that was helping her bag. Unfortunately, I did not get her name. Every time I come through her line, she always is upbeat and helpful, and it's always a pleasure. I never feel as if I'm inconveniencing her.. which I've experienced it all different grocery stores from time to time. She makes it worth my while when I occasionally shop atthis store

I shop at Meijer. It's a great place to shop. The location is very convenient, and the product availability is great. The produce is fresh, and customer service is great.

I give 5 star just because i was going through all this reviews in here and I can not believe people leaving such a bad comments for no reason .... Like they are upset for self checkout and if other customers have full carts ? Well just get over it ... there's no limit of how many items you have in order to check out Because there's no limit .... Also there 3 or 4 small self checkout for 4-5 items ..... so go there if you like .... This store it's always stocked well and it's way better then canton location.... I do Instacart all day long and believe me I will know .... Rude employees? Yes, they are overworked and low stuffed.... Ever since Covid it's hard to keep employees since no one wants to work .... I have witnessed very rude customers in here .....

So this guy who I suppose works overnights at the Meijer on Warren and Newburgh had the nerve to raise his voice at me and my fiancé, telling me to get out of the riding cart because he was "walking just fine". I had to check him. You should NEVER talk to customers like that! And his name is Chris such a prick!!!!

Meijer has been my primary go to store for groceries since before I lived on my own! Recently they have remodeled and I'm just not liking it. Not only does the placement of items not really make sense anymore but the prices on the shelves always ring for more at the register. The shelves are bare often or a very short supply of items and when there is a sales they are always out of those items very quickly! I will continue to shop there but it is no longer my primary store for groceries.

They have some really bad employees. And that's what's going to keep me from never ever going back. The self checkout employee was so so disrespectful,rude and verbally abused me and others. I did report her. But I'm done with that store.

Appreciate the investment in the Westland Meijer; however, after shopping at Meijer for nearly 30 years I do not enjoy the new layout. Food items have moved locations. Going to take longer to find what I buy. Also the entrance is weird. Enter on left, exit on right. Maybe the entrance is temporary

Chris T. Should NOT be employed!! She is very unprofessional, and that's a nice way of saying it. I watched Chris T. have a full blowin temper tantrum, like a baby because I politely said "excuse me are you a manager, I was told to come see you". After I said that She turns and looks at me with a death stare before she throws her bag on the floor and starts to cry and stomp her feet like a 2 YEAR OLD!!!! And she's one of your managers!!!! I said never mind I will handle this another way and walked away. I don't play baby with adults, I wouldn't allow that kind of behavior from my 6 year old so I AM NOT going to let an adult act like that in front me. As I'm walking away she starts yelling at me saying "what do you want I had a bad day". Well I am here to tell you I DON'T CARE if you had a bad day that's no way to act as an adult, especially a manager of a business!!! My problem was still not settled so I will now go about it a different way now because after being treated the way I was i will NEVER step foot into ANY Meijer store again, including for our prescriptions. I have already been unhappy with yall lately for never having things in stock. This incident and Chris T.'s behavior was the last straw for me and Im done giving my money to Meijer.

Just overall terrible service at night. I came in looking for a handful of things and got in line to checkout through self checkout since you know that's what you do when you have 4 items in your cart. Apparently though they shut off the machines at 11:30pm, or you know literally the person right in front of me so they make us all funnel through behind slow normal cashiers and people with huge carts full of stuff. So I might not be able to get anything at all depending on the speed of people I have no control over because they have a hard close on all machines at midnight. So I told the self checkout guy that's cool and threw my red basket to the floor and walked out and I'm never coming back. It's my local meijer and I've always liked Meijer but this was just the gut punch that is going to keep me from going back. They also never have their self checkout fully running, they almost always have 2 to 3 machines down out of the 6 that should be functional and their doors never work. Not to mention the gas station where half the pumps don't work and their signs don't even display the price. Leslie Collins should be ashamed of how terribly run her store is.

Staff works hard to keep things stocked and organized. I did have an issue with order pick up only having 1 of my 6 items. I was there the day before so I knew they had most of what I ordered. I went up there and found most of my stuff. I talked to John who was doing order pick up and he was amazing! Took care of me and honored the price I originally paid. He really deserves something extra. He was kind and patient with us mom's who wanted to talk to someone about our orders!

3 registers open max, everyones pissed off. It takes an hour on average to check out after getting groceries so count on all of your frozen goods to be melted, meats to be warm, dairy to be warm. The lines are so long its a COVID hotspot. Place is dirty. Absolute disgrace of a Meijers... This location will ruin your day every single time.

I have been shopping here for years and I always say I'm going to switch and I think for my own sanity I have to! I know it sounds crazy that a grocery store can give you a nervous breakdown but this can! As I sit in line on Labor Day writing this review which tells you something if I can write this long review while waiting in line it's crazy! Between always being out of the items I shop for or the super long lines I don't know which is more frustrating. Why do you have 20 something cashier lines but only have 3 open on the weekend??? They have plenty of self serve but those are so touchy it takes everyone twice as long to get out They always stop in the middle of scanning for some stupid reason and it takes the cashier forever to get to you to reset it. Ugh my blood pressure is going up as I write this lol. Only good thing is the prices and that's why I gave it 2 stars and is probably the only reason I still come.
