It's a shame this location has gotten so bad I had to stop buying meat from them because they lie on expiration dates and have sold expired meat and food numerous times there's never anything on the shelves anymore and looks like they frankly just stopped giving a damn. This used to be a great location to shop at. There is a handful of great cashiers there I will say that. I really hope this store gets it back together but I doubt it I highly suggest driving the extra few miles to the canton or livonia location or even the Belleville one pretty much anyone around the area except this one.

Kind of a mess with all tthe renovating and still long lines even at 10pm. Meijer should at least have enough self check outs to have no lines..cant blame lack of workers on that.

I had a mishap at the register while checking out on Dec, 11-2024. I left disappointed this day, because Meijer's is my favorite place for shopping. When I got home later on this day, I checked my email, and Meijer's had sent me a survey. I decided to fill out the survey explaining my mishap and The manager William Hall responded quickly in a matter of hours. He apologized for the mishap and told me to come in and ask for him, and he would give me a $10 happy card! I've never heard about a happy card before, and I responded that a happy card would definitely make me happy. So, I went back to Meijer's on Dec 24-24 to do my last minute Christmas shopping, and I asked for Mr. William Hall. an employee who was very nice, lead me to him, and I walked up to and said hello, my name is Stephanie, and you told me to come in and get my $1000, happy card. He looked at me and laughed really hard, and said oh no, I didn't say that! even though I was teasing Mr. Hall, he had a great since of humor and personality. He then took me to the service desk and had someone to give me my happy card, and I'm still happy about this on Christmas morning. Please take the time out to fill out surveys for any stores if you're not satisfied, because you'll never know what kind of compensation you will receive for customer satisfaction. I've enclosed a picture of my happy card, because I'm a happy and satisfied customer of Meijer's.

Last night I was doing some food shopping for the weekend so I didn’t have to go out. We all kno how mean and nasty people can get on the rode and just over all. But this night both the employee and the customer showed me so much kindness Denise on station 17 (the employee). They were so patient and kind to me while I struggled trying to figure out how I was going to pay my bill. I realized that I didn’t have enough money and people online were getting restless. I told her to suspend my transaction and I will figure out what I need to do. The last customer over heard and seen me struggling and they both looked at me n told me to come back with my things and the customer paid for my things ! I was so over enjoyed and relieved I started to cry . As a mother and a provider n someone so works two jobs and Christmas being around the corner it’s been so hard. Thank you so much to the employee Denise and the customer for being so kind to me and making my You’re fine life so much easier. I hope to return the favor to them both one day and to someone that needs help . ❤️❤️

My favorite Meijer! It's not as big as the other local Meijer stores but they are constantly restocking and working hard to keep up with the customers. I recommend taking in a cart from the parking lot because they are short up front during busy times.
